Later that same afternoon, Blizzard, Spruce, and Birch went hunting. They were in the middle of the forest near the river when they spotted a wolf near the plain at the edge of the forest.
He was a young white wolf with deep blue eyes, and he was the same height as Blizzard. He stared at them as they stood eight yards next to him in the brush.
Icemachete kept on walking until he found an elk herd, which had a fair amount of prey. But the white wolf didn't know that Blizzard, his sons, and Birch were going after the same herd.
Once the three siblings were close enough to the herd, they struck, charging towards the deer. But so was Icemachete, who was chasing them from the right.
Blizzard, Spruce, and Birch were able to bring down a big doe, while Icemachete was also able to take down a doe.
Blizzard and his siblings dragged their doe back home to their den where their parents were waiting for them.
Icemachete dragged his doe carcass home to his den where his family Ice pack lived.
After the three young wolves brought the deer carcass back home, their parents Glacier and Feather greeted them as they started to eat.
Icemachete ate his deer carcass with his family, happy that he was able to catch and bring it down on his own.
He wanted to become the leader of Ice pack just like his father Icecrack.
