Taking a sip of his drink, Jerome nodded his head at Athena who was kissing on Mercedez, "How you and ya lady doing for real? I know we be talking but you haven't really been saying much."
Shrugging his shoulders, "I didn't think I would get back in that love shit after Aliya and I definitely didn't think that it would've been for someone's wife, it low key made me question myself at times and I always wonder, if Athena could do that to her ex, than can she do that to me?"
He didn't know why but the thought had been bothering him a lot lately and it wasn't that he didn't trust Athena with everything in him, he just put it on his human nature because of how they came about because he wasn't a man with insecurities and he knew what he brought to the table at all times and eventually he knew he was going to need to have that conversation with her.
