Remy sat in one of the pews with his daughter Rielle and his parents. He was a God fearing man and believed in going to Church every chance he got especially since he was raised in it.

His parents were strong believers of Christ but they never pressured him to live his life on a Godly path as he was old enough to make his own decisions and they had already done their job by raising him to know God leaving the rest up to him and God.

He watched as Rielle stood next to his mother, Valerie who was singing with the choir and congregation. "When Jesus say yes, nobody can say no." They sung together.

The congregation along with the pastor went around hugging and greeting everyone as they opened the church doors for everyone to start leaving since church was basically finished. His father, Ryan,  slapped on his hand on his shoulder, "Proud of the man and father that you are today son!" Ryan told Remy and placed a kiss on his forehead.

Valerie snickered from witnessing the affection, "Remy is too old for your kisses, Ryan." She teased her son and husband before looking over at her beautiful granddaughter. "Are you driving with me and papa to the house or your big headed daddy?"

Rielle placed her hand on her chin as if she was really trying to make an important decision in her life. "You and papa!" She cheesed and ran over to give Remy a hug and kiss.

"Traitor." Remy chuckled and shook his head before fishing his keys out of his slacks pocket before walking over to his truck that he wanted to drive today.

Shifting his gear from parked to drive, he carefully took his time leaving out of the packed Church parking lot and on to the busy roads. His parents were inviting some family members over for a little grill out that they were having and he couldn't wait to eat because he skipped out on breakfast.

Athena had left his house late last night and he desperately didn't want her to leave but he understood her not wanting to meet Rielle as yet since they were still too early in their relationship and they weren't exclusively in one as yet.

He hadn't heard from her since she left his house, so he placed his phone on his hands free headset that was on his dashboard and carefully called her on FaceTime. Luckily for him, she picked up on the second ring and looked as if she was still in bed even though it was one thirty in the afternoon. "Did I wake you, mama?"

Athena rubbed her eyes and cleared her throat before looking at her alarm clock. She was supposed to go to church with her parents but was too tired to get up and she knew that she needed to get up now since they were having dinner today with everyone. "Yeah, thanks for being my alarm clock though." She smiled.

Remy chuckled and shook his head as he watched her stretch. "You something else. What you got going on today?"

Bringing her knees up to her breast, she hugged them, "About to get ready before everyone starts coming here. My peoples coming over to eat dinner and to think I was supposed to go apartment or condo hunting today." She shook her head.
