" So you want to change, is that it?"

Aaron had suggested as we made our way to the east hall of the college side in readiness for our next lecture. After narrating to him the painful events that I had succumbed to last time , he , at first laughed at me, because that felt convenient for him and then asked .

" I'm not saying I want to change , " I countered as we walked, in synchronization along the sidewalks. " I just want something a bit different, that's all."

" Different how? I mean , like do you want to expand your horizons , maybe try some gay shit or_"

" No no no!" The gay comment kind of threw me off ." like, I want something different."
The sound of boisterous conversation enveloped the atmosphere as college students bustled about , without a care of the world. Aaron took a cautious look at me , trying to decipher what lied beyond my words. Usually , I kept myself hidden in my comfort zone, I hated anything new or different or unfamiliar yet here I was , suggesting to do something that went against my routine.

" What do you mean by different?" he cocked his eyebrow, his curiosity peeked.

" You know, " I started . " I want something ...challenging. "
" What, like a game or puzzle?" Mused Aaron ,breathing a laugh at my statement.

" Clearly you don't get the jist of what I'm hinting at ,"

" Could you be less cryptic about it though?"

We made it into the lecture hall and took seats at the very far end at the back. Having settled down , books out and pens tucked between pages , I turned to Aaron , who was still struggling to get his notepad out.

" I mean , I don't want the easy type girls," I said admittedly. " I want the challenging girls."

" Challenging girls ? Like , mentally challenged or what does that mean?"

" Are you purposefully trying to misinterpret what I am saying?" My eyes narrowed into a sliver .

Aaron shrugged his lanky shoulders , an innocent look sprawled all over his face.

The class trickled in with students as it gradually filled up . Public Relations classes always seemed to harbor hundreds of students considering many had opted to take Mass Communication as a major. My eyes drifted to the students coming in , mainly the girls. The all looked the same, dressed the same , acted the same...something I dearly hated as I nibbled absentmindedly at the tip of my pen. The challenge itself proved challenging. Where on earth was I going to find a girl who was...quite the challenge, a girl who wouldn't make it easy on me? A girl -

" OW!" I let out a sudden yelp once the pen as was nibbling was harshly yanked from me by Aaron. " WHAT GIVES?!"

" No chewing on inedible stuff, it's disgusting," he loved to parent me , as if I asked for it. " So what did you mean by challenging girl ?"

I never got to answer him once Mr. Arthur sauntered in , laptop tucked under his armpit, the echo of his footsteps bouncing audible through the walls of the hall. His short stature made him seem almost unintimidating . His voice had a laugh to it, the corners of his eyes spotted laughing lines which added to his easy going personality.

" I know I've said it before and i'll say it again , " he said , animatedly. " but who doesn't love psychology? " Murmurs erupted from the crowd as students discussed in unintelligent voices. Aaron dove into his sketch book that he normally carried with him everywhere. I let my eyes scan through the numerous heads of students that were floating ahead of me , curly hair , straight hair , short hair , hijab covered head , a nun...

Wait, a nun ?

I had to double check as my neck stretched further ahead to make out my assumptions. Three columns ahead from me , centrally , there sat a girl with a nun , a grey veil secured over her head. That's definitely new. I didn't even know that nuns were allowed to go to college. Maybe its just my ignorance but to me, that was unheard of.

" Hey , " I loudly whispered to Aaron who looked at me abruptly, pen in his mouth. " Are you seeing what I'm seeing?"

With a rather subdued expression, Aaron shrugged indifferently , trying to look around at the aforementioned. " Seeing what ?" he attempted to speak intelligently despite his mouth being full with a pen fitted inside it. I deftly snatched the pen off his mouth before pointing with it at the target of my attention.

The nun , seated six to seven feet away from us , her attention greatly focused on the goofy looking lecturer.

" Who's she ?" I pried , my voice a soft whisper.

" The nun?"

" Yeah , the nun ,"

Aaron glanced over at her , his gaze in a deep thoughtful scrutiny , trying to make out her face or if he even knew her by chance. Then came a disappointed reply ; " Sorry , I don't think I ever met her before."

After long seconds of cordial silence , Aaron raised an eyebrow at me , " Why do you want to know?"

The tone almost felt accusatory , as if trying to rebuke me for simply asking who she was , Aaron was good at those. " What , am I not allowed to ask question no more?"

" No, I mean , it's okay if you are curious but ..." then his grey eyes faced the nun as she wrote industriously on her notepad then back at me. " she doesn't seem your type."

I almost let out an incredulous laugh.

" Why would you think that of me?" I stifled a laugh , leaning back as I waited for his well thought out reply.

" I dunno, you basically said you were looking for a challenging girl and I thought , well..." he hesitantly shifted his gaze from her then back to me, his face contorted into a grimace. My once smug smirk fell off my face and was soon replaced with a puzzled one.

" Are you ...wait-" I tried to put two and two together. Was he thinking that I would make a move on the sweet looking nun?
