I was looking forward to seeing Teresa after the afternoon session but my efforts proved futile. She'd already disappeared into the convent as soon as her feet stepped outside. Gemma hadn't spoken much about the Teresa and me situation and I was oddly grateful at the capricious attitude.

Tea and biscuits wasn't much to look forward to, not when Teresa wasn't around. Everyone talked amongst themselves, the scent of biscuits basking in the air. I'd brushed a few crumbs from my trouser as I watched Gemma talk animatedly with some girls seated beside her. And I felt like an alien,oh truly,I was one and I was left with my thoughts running rampantly inside my head in a helter skelter.

I thought back to the words Gemma had said, about the sexual tension. A devious smirk devoured my lips as I entertained the thought of that. We did have good chemistry didn't we?

" So," Gemma tapped me abruptly. " do you need a ride back to your place? I have a car that might fit the two of us."

Her question caught me unawares as I blinked I'm confusion.

" You're asking to give me a ride back home?" I revised her statement.

" Yeah," she shrugged indifferently. " might give me a good chance to get to know you."

" And you live where exactly?" I approached the topic with raised eyebrows.

" Just a stone throw away from Tanya's place,"

I coughed at the mention of Tanya. Her name revved up some bitter memories, ones I wished would soon be buried in a forgettable grave. Suddenly I'm flashing back to last night's events.

" How do you know Tanya?" I clasped my teacup with a death grip, jaws clenched as I tried to easen up.

" She's a friend of a friend, and I knew you looked familiar," Said Gemma, highly unaware of the disagreeable position she'd placed me in. " you school at Winchester University, right?"

" I do," I shrugged "and I'm really not surprised that you know this since you're friends with Teresa."

" You think I know that just cause I'm friends with Teresa?" Gemma let out a short derisive laugh. " I school there too. I'm majoring in Business. "

" Oh, is that so?" My lips quirked up in smile of intrigue. I'd never seen her before, around campus grounds. I'd been around with countless girls from campus I guess she'd escaped my charms of she did come across me.

" Yeah," She brought her cup towards her lips for a sip and I mirrored back. " I want to get to know you. You seem pretty interesting."

" Did Teresa tell you that?" I smugly asked, picturing her, talking excitedly about me to Gemma. A highly unlikely occurrence but still, I was curious to know.

" Why do you want to know?" She teased.

" I'm just curious about what you two talk about when alone," I propped my elbows against the table and leaned closer to hear more of what she had to say.

Gemma whisked a mocking smirk my way and brought a biscuit to her mouth before biting onto it in a slow move. She wanted me to press her into spilling the beans. She did seem like the type to resort to blackmail as a way of torturing someone by hoisting critical information or any information at all.

" Come on ,Gems," I tried my charms on her , throwing in a newly found nickname for her. " a penny for your thoughts?"

She rolled her eyes at the name.

" Not unless you tell me something in return," She reached for a bargain, crumbling some biscuits into the saucer .

" And what do you want to know?" I had an inkling of what she required to know of me. She wanted to peak through the curtain of my friendship with Teresa. And that would require me telling her how I want to seduce her out of her secrets and clothes....I wasn't about to bite the bullet at that.
