I entered our house with Smith trailing behind me. He switched on the light of the living room and an inaudible gasp left my lips when my eyes gazed around. I froze in the middle of the room, not knowing what to say and how to react.

After a few seconds, I finally regained my voice and said. "What the fuck?"

"Oh shit." He froze too, probably realising his mistake.

I turned around and looked at him, he was still standing near the main door, his hand fidgeting with the ring in his finger and a guilty expression decorated on his charming face.

He let out a nervous laugh when he found me glaring at him. "Well... aren't these beautiful darling?"

"Really?" I raised my eyebrows and again looked around myself.

There were eight large-size pictures of mine hanging on all the four walls of this living room. And let me tell you, they were really really huge.

I focused back on him again, only to find him already staring at one of the pictures hung near him. It was a very casual picture of mine, just looking in the other direction. There was nothing special in it but he was still standing and staring at it.

My cheeks immediately heat up in embarrassment when I noticed him slightly smiling at the picture. Feeling very awkward, I quickly averted my gaze to the other pictures in the room.

I have always been an insecure person, whether it's about my body or my looks. I'm never the one to be confident in myself.

Well...what do you expect from the girl who got rejected, not once but twice and by the same boy? It's really a huge blow to anyone's ego.

I cleared my throat and his head snapped towards me.

"Why?"

"You're looking so beautiful in this one." He pointed his finger at that photo frame.

I clenched my jaw in annoyance and asked again."Why?"

He sighed and glanced at that picture again before focusing back on me. "I was missing you okay? So I ordered my assistant to frame these photographs. They are beautiful... aren't they?"

I blushed hard when he again focussed his gaze back on that picture.

"You should have asked me first." I muttered.

He scoffed. "Considering our situation at that time...you weren't even ready to see me, let alone talk with me. So, I thought this was the best temporary solution for now."

"I-I was angry."

"Trust me, I know..." He glanced at me then again focussed back on that picture. "But I also know that you are looking gorgeous in all of them. Especially in this one..." He said bluntly and a shiver ran down my spine.
