Newt's POV
I come running outside when I see Bailey collapse on the floor, I scream out her name over and over again getting louder each time. Gally comes up behind me along with Minho,
"Newt what's wrong?" Gally says. I cry and point to Bailey. Gally comes closer to Bailey and i protectively surround myself over her,
"Don't come near her!" I scream. Everyone stops and looks at me, at that moment I picked up her body and run to the medjack hut. I lay her on the bed in there and sit on the chair next to her. I grab her hands and stare at her.
"Bailey I am sorry for everything. I know we have had a difficult past but I want to spend my life with you. We were meant for each other. I love you and I wish that you were awake to here me now. Bailey when I leave I want you to read this note I wrote, it says..." Before I could read it I hear a gun shot and run outside. When I get out I see dozens upon dozens of men dressed in black shooting at all of us. I run to Gally and Minho who are hiding in the cage. I run to them and they let me in.
"What are we gonna do?" Minho asks. I shake my head and Gally looks down.
"I don't know Minho." I say softly. I feel like our whole world is coming down. We all looked at each other knowing that we were gonna die. Then Thomas came over dressed in black reaching for my hand.
"Newt if we are gonna leave we gotta leave now!" He screamed. I see Chuck was already with him so I look at Minho for a second and say,
"Minho you were like a brother to me and I will miss you so much. Good luck in the maze." I say. He has tears in his eyes when he says,
"You too Newt, my brother." My heart was breaking but I knew that I had to leave. I say goodbye to Gally and then Thomas leads me off. I turn me head to see Minho again and he was standing and fighting back. But a second later I see someone in black come up right behind him and shoot. I scream so loud but I then was surrounded by darkness. My best friend is gone, the girl I love is not with me, and my enemy is still alive and it's all my fault.

I am also sorry that I haven't been on lately because I have had track and now I have my finals next week so I have been studying but I promise this summer I will finish this book and hopefully have a sequel!
