Seeing someone get shot in front of you sounds like a dream until it happens to you. Its awful and leaves a horrible gut sensation. There's blood, and shock, and a horrible feeling of frustration and anger because you can't fix it.
With a breath and a blink of an eye, we didn't even see his finger twitch on the trigger. The shot was muffled, as though the sound traveled through the walls to our ears.
We could only watch, still, as Damon stumbled back. No one knew what was going on we were all so distracted by the loud bang. We all stared at the red blossoming at his chest, before he collapsed and the bullets slowly clattered to the floor.
Even though death is usaully the circumstance that comes with a gun shot none of use were prepared for it.
I wasn't ready to lose someone else or even have the thought of going to another funeral.
Except this time, Javarius made it to the hospital.
The doctors said he was lucky the bullet only went through muscle and there was a clean exit wound that didn't require surgery.
Hardin was upset because he knew it was widow, and once I told him about the encounter of the guy earlier come to find out it was him.
He was the one who shot Damon.
And Hardin wanted nothing but revenge.
"Hardin you can't just go rouge because of something that happened, he didn't try to kill you so don't get involved." I sighed.
"Octavia it has everything to do with me! He shot my friend, I've considered him as the closet thing I've got to a brother and you want me to stay quiet? I don't play about my family." He got angry.
"Okay but don't put it out on me I didnt do anything." I coughed.
A pain grew in my stomach.
"Octavia you wouldn't fucking understand, this is my life whether you like it or not when something happens to someone it happens to all of us. That's just how it is whether you like it or not." He scolded me.
