Alexa reached the restaurant. It was a seven-star restaurant with lavish and very expensive dishes and high-end furniture.

It must have cost a fortune to make this whole thing.

When she walked inside she saw the people she was supposed to have dinner with tonight.

Alexa internally groaned seeing all her distant cousins and aunts and uncles from her father's side.

She knew they all were fake, from their smile to their nature.

They were good to her because they knew Alexandra was powerful or else they would have treated her the same way they treated her mother, a lowlife.

"Oh... Alexa dear how are you?" Her father's female cousin went first.

"Good" she replied bluntly.

Her aunt blinked hoping for her to say something more, but when she realized Alexa was not going to say anything further she laughed awkwardly looking at everyone at the table.

"How about the company? how is it going? If need any sort of help you could ask me whenever you like." Her distant uncle decided to take the lead.

"You don't have to worry about that uncle I am handling the company just fine by myself." She said with an intimating stare.

He got a bit flustered by her reply but went on, "O-oh Okay."

Alexandra knew they all were hungry for money and wanted the company.

Just then Dominic Angello walked in.

Everyone was on their feet to bow to him. Yeah, of course except for Alexa.

They all were not surprised as this happened to be a very common scenario at the family dinners.

Even so, her uncle still attempted," Alexa, still respect him as the elder here."

"Elder? Huh? I forgot he was supposed to be an elder, cause I have no respect for him whatsoever." She said a bit bored.

Sensing the tension in the atmosphere, Bianca decided to pitch in by changing the topic,

"Now Grandpa came back after so many months, all his friends and family did not even meet him. Why not keep a formal party at the mansion for his welcome."

Alexa internally groaned they had never even celebrated my birthday.

She rolled her eyes at their conversation to decide on a date and time.

"Ok! It's decided tomorrow evening we are hosting a little party for grandfather." Bianca exclaimed while clapping her hands. "I will send all the invitations tonight itself."

"Little? Pfft. What a joke." Alexa said in a completely inaudible voice.

"Alexa!" Bianca said.

"What?"

"Let's go and get a dress tomorrow morning. What do you say?"

" I don't have time for that. I will have Francesca buy me one." She said while getting up

"Good night people, I have to get some sleep. You see, some people have work to do."

She left the room while glancing at her grandfather.
