Chapter 26

Just as Alexa closed the door behind her she saw Maria march towards Bianca's room very angrily.

She halted in her tracks when she saw her niece," Oh? Alexa? Why are you coming out of Bianca's room?" She was very confused as Alexa was almost never around her daughter.

"We need to talk," Alexa said with seriousness written all over her face.

Maria blinked," Umm... just give me five minutes. I need to give Bianca some scolding, she skipped college today."

Alexa blocked her way," I. SAID. WE. NEED. TO. TALK. NOW!" she said in a very authoritative tone.

Maria got the hint, she was very angry. And something was awfully wrong since Alexa would never talk to her on her accord.

"A-Alexa, you are scaring me. What happened?"

Alexa walked towards the living room. Taking it as a signal Maria followed behind.

" EVERYONE OUT NOW!!" Alexa shouted to all the people working in the house," I SHOULD NOT SEE ANY ONE OF YOU IN THIS HOUSE WITHIN FIVE MINUTES!!"

Everyone dropped what they were doing and made their way out of the house to the servant's quarters located near the mansion.

"Call Mr. Angello," Alexa said while turning toward her aunt.

"Your uncle or grandpa?" Maria asked, hesitating a little.

"Both."

Since Dominic was already in the house, he got down hearing the commotion.

"What is going on?"

Completely ignoring him, Alexa asked Maria," Did he pick up?"

"It's ringing."

She could hear Federico from the other end of the phone.

"What do mean you are busy? Honey, I think it is very urgent." Maria talked to her husband in a pleading tone.

Alexa could hear Federico shout at his wife. 

Losing her patience, she grabbed the phone from Maria and started speaking," Listen here Federico Angello," she growled in her phone with a very angry tone," I am not fucking with you right now. You better get your ass here by evening or else you know well enough what I am damn capable of."

OTP:" What is wrong with you? I am still in Italy!"

"I. DON'T. CARE!"

She cut the call without waiting for a reply. Handing over the phone back to Maria, she spoke," Since your husband is still in Italy, we will talk in the evening."

Turning around Alexa was about to leave the house, but she halted in her steps.

"One more thing. If I find out anyone, by anyone I MEAN ANYONE," She emphasized her words staring right at Dominic Angello," Goes ANYWHERE near Bianca before my return, I will have your hands chopped off."

Maria had seen many sides of Alexa with her growing up. But this one? It genuinely terrified her.

She could feel a chill down her spine and she gulped in fear.

While Dominic on the other hand was very suspicious.

What is she thinking now?

Alexa stormed out of the house, to her car.

 Having no clue where she was going, she was aimlessly driving on the streets of the busy city.

Too occupied by her thoughts, she applied brakes when she saw something suddenly come in front of her car.
