Alexa drove to her house with a light heart and a slight smile on her face. But it all vanished the moment she entered the mansion and saw lines of cars outside.

It meant her uncle really did make his way back today itself.

She took in a deep breath as she got out of her car It's going to be a long evening.

Just as she entered the mansion, she was about to make her way to the drawing room before she felt a pair of soft hands grab her arm and drag her in the opposite direction.

" Bianca? What the fuck do you think you are doing?!" Alexa was bewildered by the sudden aggression from her sister's side. But she still let Bianca drag her, because if she didn't Alexa knew her cousin wouldn't be able to move her an inch.

" How are you feeling now?" Was the first thing Alexa asked her the moment they halted their steps in a quiet corner of the mansion.

" Are you going to tell them about this?" Bianca asked her in a shaky voice, completely ignoring her cousin's question from earlier.

"What?" Alexa asked her with a confused face, not entirely sure what the younger one was talking about.

"Is that why Dad came back home early? Do you plan on telling them everything?" Bianca asked her with teary eyes.

Alexa finally understood what she was talking about and gave a deep sigh," I must. How else are you planning on breaking your engagement?"

Bianca suddenly held her hand and shook her head," Please don't tell them about this Alexa! Please." She sounded so desperate.

"Do you even know your dad and grandpa? They are never going to break this profitable engagement just because I asked them to. I need to give them a solid reason, or else they won't listen no matter what."

"Please, Alexa!! I beg you. They will listen to you. Just say anything but not this!! Please, I am begging you!!" Her hands were shaking at this point.

"Bianca..." Alexa was now completely stuck. What else is she supposed to do?

Alexa knew Bianca was terrified and was not ready to disclose all of this to the entire family yet. But it was an emergency right now to break their engagement.

"Alexa... Please."

"Bianca, go to your room, and DON'T YOU DARE come out unless I call you, Okay?"

"But-"

"Don't worry I won't tell them anything. But in return I need you to listen to me and stay upstairs."

Listening to Alexa, Bianca hesitantly nodded.

"Okay."

"I am serious Bianca. I should not catch you eavesdropping on us at all. Do you understand me?" Alexa warned in a threatening tone.

Bianca gulped a little and nodded in response.

"Good. Now go, I will talk to them."

Alexa saw her cousin slowly turn around to leave. She wanted to stop Bianca and tell her everything would be fine, but she was not too sure about it herself.

She made her way to the drawing room where she saw the men of the house sitting on the sofa, discussing something.

Noticing her Federico got up from his seat and angrily made his way towards Alexa.

He grabbed her collar and growled in her face," How DARE you threaten me, girl? You spoke like that to me as if you believe you hold any power over me."
