Chapter 02: The Aftermath as an Idol

What happened while I was in the hospital?

It's has been.... About a week since I woke up. I've been bedridden for the most part. But hey! Today's the day I'm getting discharged! A few more checkups and I'm out of this hospital room! I just have to wait for my doctor to enter..

Someone entered the door, but it wasn't my doctor; it was my idol friend, Takamine!

"Ai! Long time no see!" She smiled. I nod back, smiling wider

"Takamine-Chan! It's been a while! How's the group?"

"Well.. that's what I came here for.. haha.."
She chuckled nervously. What did she mean about that..?

"Hm? What's wrong?"

"Well... Strawberry Production decided to...disband B-Komachi." She muttered under her breath.

"W-what?" I was in shock. She wasn't joking that time...

"Strawberry Productions can't afford getting another idol harassed. Their priority is our safety, and the attack was a sign that we should lay low for now..

Our idol graduation is a week after you're discharged."

"O-oh... Okay.." I frowned. This is terrible! My idol career already didn't really pay much in the first place. How am I supposed to stay afloat without a stable job? How am I gonna feed Ruby and Aqua?

We chatted for a while, but she had to leave after a few minutes, which gave me more time to think about what to do next. The doctor FINALLY came into the room and started the final examination.

"Does your throat hurt when you speak?"

"No."

"Anything hurt near the lower abdomen?"

"No."

"Okay. Good, good. You're ready to go. One last thing though."

"Hm?" I tilted my head in confusion.

"It would be best if you do not start or continue any diet for the next 2 or 3 months. You still need a bit more time to heal completely. I'd prefer if you eat the recommended amount of calories per day, nothing more, nothing less." He instructed.

"Ah.. I see. I'll do my best to eat the exact amount a day!" I put my hands on my waist. I was SUPER excited to see Ruby and Aqua again. It's been a while since they visited, since people were starting to get skeptical.

"If that's all settled, you can go out once you change." The doctor smiled as he left the room so I could change. I changed into my new set of clothing, then thought to myself;

DO I HAVE A DISGUISE??
