"good morning mr. han." minji stood by the gate of the han residence, with a fancy bouquet of flowers on her hand and the other hand holding a big, fluffy and smooth avocado plushie. the man in question, who is y/n's father, stood there - baffled by the sudden intrusion of the known princess of a korean palace. he felt as if he was dreaming, stepping back with his hand stretched out as if to stop the princess from intruding. "woah- woah, wait a minute." he muttered, looking back to their house's door and slowly turning his head.

"taesan!" mr. han yelled, minji stood there, wondering why he looked distraught.

"uhm, is there any problem sir?" minji asked, making steady eye contact with the man of the house, although the father is supposed to be the protector of the household, he looked really scared by the sight of the princess.

"no... who are you?" mr. han asked, footsteps were heard and the door opened to dongmin running towards the duo by the gate. "dad!" dongmin approached the two and his eyes fell on the tall girl outside, dongmin blinked and cleared his throat and fixed his posture.

"ms. minji..." dongmin's eyes were set on the gifts on the princess' hands, coming in terms to how luxurious those gifts must be and how much they might have cost. dongmin glanced at his father who looked confused and lost. "oh what's up with this whole thing?" mr. han asked, gesturing to his son and the visitor.

"good morning taesan. i'm here again for your sister, i hope i'm not intruding on an important moment in this household." minji stated, bowing in full 90° to the father and son duo. mr. han scratched his head and grimaced. "and what does the princess of the palace want to do with my only daughter?" mr. han asked, looked at his son and pointed to minji.

"and am i even seeing this right taesan? please don't you start kidding me." dongmin rolled his eyes and shrugged. "what you're seeing is what it is, i'm not kidding that's the princess of the palace right in front of us." he added, only fueling his father's confusion because of this fellow standing in their territory with stupid gifts on her hands.

"well, i'm so sorry -" mr. han bowed and then looked up to minji. "but may i ask what's your business with my daughter." minji cleared her throat to speak but dongmin cuts her off.

"how about we let her inside first, get her a nice glass of fresh tea huh?" dongmin raised his brows on his father, a small smile on his lips and they communicated through stares before his father nodded and entered inside to notify his wife.

"come on in." dongmin opened the gate wider for minji and he received a thanks before she entered inside.

y/n's footsteps were heard as minji greeted mrs. han, she sat on one of the couches and mrs. han came back with a mug of fresh and hot tea. "thank you so much mrs. han, i appreciate your kindness." minji said, mrs. han almost melted, she had never seen such respectful and kind kid before, as expected to the princess.

"what's the matter?" y/n asked as she walked downstairs, greeted by her dad who stood by the stairway. "you didn't tell us you have a visitor today." mr. han spoke, y/n peeked through her father's shoulders and saw minji sat on their couch, there's a faint blush on her cheeks, before she ran up to her room again.

oh my god, oh my god.

i totally did not get myself ready for this!

confused, her father stood there before excusing his daughter to minji who is patiently sitting down on the couch. "can you wait a little more please? my daughter needs a little more time to fix herself."
