~A week or two later~
"Avery you alright?" Jughead asks her as they walk into the cafeteria.
"Yeah just tired" she says, Avery stay up all night thinking about what to do with her Sweet Pea situation and didn't get any sleep. The two Jones kids walk up to the Serpents table and they are all watching a video on Sweet Pea's computer.
"Hey. I'm guessing we're not watching funny cat videos." Jughead says.
"Check rhis out. Some sick-in-the-head Northsider posted a crazy-ass video, and we were just talking-" Sweet pea says.
"About what?" Jughead asks, Avery and Jughead look at each other when they see Archie on the computer screen.
"Fogarty wants to earn his Serpent stripes. I say bring us the head of that Northsider, and you're in" Sweet Pea says to Fangs.
"I'm down with that" Fangs says, Avery shakes her head and Sweet Pea is riled up and bangs on the table a little.
"No guys, don't." Jughead says.
"What Jones?" Sweet Pea asks.
"I know this guy, he's a milquetoast. A football player. It's kind of a lame target." Avery says.
"You wanna prove something? Go after the Black Hood." Jughead says.
"And why would we do that? The Black Hood's targeting Northsiders, who do nothing but blame the Southside for everything that's wrong with this town. We're sick of it. The Black Hood's doing our work for us." Sweet Pea says, Avery rolls her eyes.
"Avery is that your boyfriend? The one you hooked up with?" Sweet Pea asks, she freezes for a second.
"Well if fucking someone means they are my boyfriend that I guess your my boyfriend to" she says grabbing her bag off the seat and walking away, Sweet Pea walks towards her and turns her around in the empty hallway.
"What do you want?" She asks.
"Why are you acting like this?" He acts.
"You mean acting how your acting? Seems you don't like the taste or your own medicine." She says going to walk away but he grabs her arm gently.
"I don't like people touching what's mine" he says.
"What do you mean?" She asks.
"I like you okay." He says.
"I do too" she says with a small laugh.
"Well, let's start something" he asks leaning in, she putting her hand on his chest him away.
"Not so fast, you owe me an apology. You need to make it up to me because the past few weeks you have treated me like garbage and I don't deserve it. So I'll be waiting." She says walking away to her class.
~The next night~
Jughead and Betty asked Toni, Kevin, and Avery to help crack the code the Black Hood sent and that's what they are doing.
"These symbols look so familiar to me, it's like I've seen them before and it's driving me crazy I can't figure out where." Betty says, Toni and Avery are sitting by each other looking at books.
