~A few weeks later~
A tape was sent to Jughead. Betty, Avery, Alice, Fp, and Sweet Pea are all in the living room watching it. It's a video of someone in a mask of Jughead is hit in the back of the head by someone in a mask of Betty. When Avery sees it she runs off the couch downstairs.
"Avery, it's okay" Sweet Pea says bringing her into a hug.
"I didn't want to see that" she says shaking her head slowly. Jughead walks downstairs and sits on the bed with Avery.
"It's okay Aves, it's not real" Jughead says putting a hand on her knee.
"Yes I know. But that actually happened to you." She says keeping her head down.
"I know but I'm fine now" Jughead says kissing her head and walking out the basement.
"Your okay" Sweet Pea whispers rubbing her back.
"Can we go to Pop's?" Avery asks looking up at his eyes, he smiles.
"Of course we can" he says leaning down and kissing her softly.
"Okay let's go, I'm hungry" she says with a small giggle, they walk out the basement door and drive to Pop's on his motorcycle.
"Hi Avery, hey Sweet Pea" Pop says when she walks into the door.
"Hi Pop!" Avery says with a bright smile as they walk to their usual booth.
"So, graduation is coming up soon, are you excited?" Sweet Pea asks putting his arm around her.
"Yes, mostly because I get to leave this crazy town for a little with you" she says with a smile.
"Me too" he says leaning down and kissing her.
"I was thinking since Princeton I could take online classes instead of in person classes. So we could live here and then we could live our lives" she says looking up at his eyes as he looks down at hers.
"And start a family?" He asks, she smiles.
"I would love to" she says they kiss and Pop brings their food over.
"Thank you Pop!" Avery says.
"Your welcome kids, enjoy" Pop says shooting them a smile before walking away. They eat their food, talk, and laugh. When they get home there is a video tape by the basement door.
"What the hell?" Avery asks picking it up and taking it inside. She puts it in the vhs player by the tv and watches. There is someone with a mask of her and a mask of Penny and Jughead with other people in masks. The one with a mask of Avery is tied in a chair and 'Jughead' is on the floor being beaten by everyone while 'Penny' is hitting 'Avery'. Avery watches the tape with tears streaming down her face and Sweet Pea turns it off.
"What is that?" Sweet Pea asks kneeling down in front of her.
"Riot night" she says hiding her face in her hands. Sweet Pea goes upstairs and comes back with Fp, Jughead, and Charles.
"Avery? What happened?" Fp asks sitting next to her on the couch in the basement. Sweet Pea replays the video and Avery covers her eyes.
