~The next day~
"Jughead where did you go last night?" Avery asks when he walks into the trailer.
"Dilton came by before we had to go to court and we talked and he made me a map which a went to the place marked and found Ben Button and Dilton Doiley with symbols carved in their back and blue lips. Ben's Alice and Dilton's dead." Jughead says, Avery's eyes went wide.
"Wow" Avery says.
"Yeah, I have to get ready for school" Jughead says walking away.
"Me too" she says walking into her room and getting dressed.

"Avery, trying out for the Vixens this year?" Cheryl asks.
"I will think about it" Avery says with a small smile Cheryl groans and they walk into class seeing Josie and Sweet Pea. Avery sighs and Cheryl grabs her hand sitting in the desk next to her mouthing 'it's okay' with a small smile.
~After school~
Avery is sitting talking with Fangs and Sweet Pea when she gets a call.
Incoming call: Veronica Lodge
"Hey Ronnie what's up?" Avery asks.
"Our lovely friend Penny Peabody showed up" Veronica says, Avery stands up quickly.
"I'm on my way" Avery says with anger in her voice running to her bike.
"Where are you going?" Fangs yells.
"Don't worry about it!" She yells back before speeding off to Pop's.
"Ms. Lodge, what did Penny want?" Avery asks sitting at the bar in La Bonne Nuit.
"She offered hers and the Ghoulies protection" Veronica says, Avery laughs.
"Alright we'll if she starts more problems let me know" Avery says.
"Okay, and come to the party tomorrow night" Veronica says handing her a card.
"Thanks Ronnie" Avery says sending her a wink and walking out the speakeasy and going home.
"Avery what happened?" Fangs asks.
"Mm Penny is all like I said don't worry about it" Avery says before walking inside and going to bed.
~The next night~
Avery just got done getting ready for La Bonne Nuit's grand opening and is heading there now.
