~The next day~
"Avery!" Jughead shouts from the entrance of the basement.
"What!" She yells waking up, Sweet Pea sits up.
"Come upstairs" he says calmly walking out the basement, she groans and sits up.
"What's going on?" Sweet Pea asks rubbing his eyes, she gets out of bed.
"I don't know come on" she says tiredly and going into the living room.
"Morning sleepyhead" Jughead says, she glares at him and sits on the couch.
"Shut up" she says looking at the tv, Sweet Pea puts his hand on her shoulder.
"It's literally six hours....of our house." Betty says as they all look at the tv.
"Why would somebody do that? Film it and then leave the evidence on the front doorstep?" Alice asks forwarding it still.
"To unsettle you. Let you know you're being watched." Charles says.
"It's not working" Avery says being unfazed by the tv.
"Yeah, but why a videotape? Why something so anachronistic?" Jughead asks.
"What does that word even mean?" Avery asks Jughead.
"Maybe it's just a prank." Fp says, Avery sighs and stands up.
"Welcome home Alice" Avery smiles going downstairs and in bed.
"Your going back to sleep?" Sweet Pea asks.
"Yes, I am." She says cuddling her stuffed animal and blanket.
~A few weeks later~
Everyone has gotten a tape of their house in Riverdale, and it's now Halloween. Avery's up getting ready for school.
"Good morning Aves" Sweet Pea says kissing her cheek, she smiles.
"Good morning Pea" Avery says with a huge smile, she finishes doing her mascara and proceeds to get dressed.
"So are we doing anything after school?" He asks, she shakes her head while putting her jeans on.
"I don't like celebrating Halloween." She says putting her belt on.
"Why?" He asks getting dressed.
"Just not really important to me I don't like it much" she says putting her hoops in.
"Okay I'll just go with Jb to trick or treat" he says, Avery smiles thinking about the bond her boyfriend and little sister have created.
"Okay, I'll stay with Betty and pass out candy with her and Jughead" Avery says, she walks upstairs into the kitchen.
"Morning, Alice, Betty." Avery smiles, she walks over to Jellybean and kisses her head.
"Morning Avery" Betty and Alice chorus.
"Morning Jb!" She says hugging her.
"Morning Aves" Jellybean says.
"Another one? Keep me updated." Fp says on the phone, before hanging up.
"The Muggses also got a tape." Fp says.
"Ooh! I'll get over there and get an interview with him for tonight's broadcast." Alice says, Avery sits on a chair at the island.
"That's the fringe benefit of living with the Sheriff. I get the inside scoop before any other reporter." Alice says, they kiss.
"This is rated R" Avery says looking down.
