~a few days later~
The past few days have been hectic, the trailer park was burned down except a few trailers, Avery had a fractured cheekbone, and Jughead has been asleep the past few days, until Jughead groans signaling he's up.
"Jughead?" Avery asks walking over, she cries seeing him open his eyes and she hugs him.
"Dad?" Jughead asks, Fp wakes up.
"Jug" Fp says standing up.
"What did I miss?" He asks.
"What you did brought every Serpent I've ever known out of the woodwork and you would've been proud of them boy" Fp says.
"I looked like we were gonna win the days but in the end there were just...just too many Ghoulies. It was like shooting snakes in a barrel." he says.
"Why? Why did you both go?" Jughead asks.
"We wanted to avenge you" Fp says Avery stares at her hands remembering the thought of Jughead getting beaten to a pulp.
"I had an agreement with Hiram Lodge." Jughead says.
"There was no stopping others. They were churned up about you and Fangs. Even though Fangs is...he's alive." Fp says Jughead looks at him.
"Fangs is alive?" Jughead asks, Fp nods.
"But I thought...a deputy called you and told you he was dead" Jughead says.
"Yeah, that was a lie." Fp says.
"A ploy you mean to goad the Serpents into a fight they couldn't win. All of riot night was a Hiram Lodge orchestrated mousetrap. And the Serpents followed me right into it." Jughead says, Avery sobs.
"Sunnyside Trailer Park fell, and while our trailers still standing, mot of them burned." Fp says.
"Jug after the rumble, some of the Serpents defected, they...they joined the Ghoulies other were arrested. More went into hiding, the rest they...they left town." Fp says.
"The Serpents....they don't exist anymore." Avery says looking at Jughead with watery eyes.
"Avery I'm so sorry" Jughead says pulling her into a hug.
"You sacrificed yourself and let me watch, Jughead" Avery says sobbing.
"I know I'm so sorry I had to follow up with mine and Hiram's deal though I didn't know you were gonna be there" he says and she pulls away.
~a few days later~
"So this is how it ends, huh?" Avery asks Toni, Sweet Pea, and Jughead who are all sitting the in Swords for Serpents room.
"Not with a whimper, but with a memo from Weatherbee." Avery says.
"Riverdale High is now suddenly overcrowded. So, starting next week, all former Southside High students will be bussed to Seaside High which is two hours away." Toni reads from a paper.
"Meaning he blames us for trashing the school during riot night" Sweet Pea says.
"Well, to be fair, Sweet Pea you did." Jughead says.
