~Friday~
It's lunch time and Avery is sitting with Betty, Veronica, Kevin, and Archie.
"Anyway, enough about my drama. Betty, you were saying something about Jughead's birthday?" Veronica questions, Avery picks her head up.
"Yeah. Just that Mr. Jones told me Jughead's never had a birthday party" Betty says.
"Mhm" Avery and Archie confirm.
"Let's have one for him. Like a low-key surprise party" Betty says with a smile.
"No bad idea" Archie says.
"That's a fantastic idea." Veronica says.
"Jughead doesn't like his birthday." Avery says.
"Everybody says that nobody means it" Kevin says.
"Jughead is a lone wolf" Archie adds.
"Okay. Ignoring the negativity. Betty, you know me, any excuse to wear a cute party dress." Veronica says.
"Yeah" Betty says.
"Okay, so I'm thinking a quaint gathering, inner-circle only." Veronica says.
"Oh my god, don't turn around." Kevin says, everyone turns around to see Chuck Clayton whom Betty got suspended back at school going towards Ethel Muggs.
"Holy Chuck, I think his lats got bigger" Kevin says, Avery laughs.
"What's, Chuck Clayton doing back?" Archie asks.
"He got suspended not expelled. Even though he should have been drawn and quartered for what he did." Veronica says, Betty gets up and walks to Chuck.
"Okay guys I'm gonna go" Avery says grabbing her bag.
"See you at the party tomorrow" Veronica adds, Avery rolls her eyes and heads to class then Vixen practice after school where Veronica and Cheryl are having a dance battle.
"All votes for Cheryl?" Betty asks, nobody claps.
"All votes for Veronica?" Betty asks, everyone applauds.
"Never cross a Lodge. Come on girls" Veronica says and all the Vixens follows. After practice Avery heads home and quickly changes then heads to Pop's with Toni.
"I'm absolutely dreading this party for my brother tomorrow" Avery says eating a fry.
"Why? It's a party." Toni says drinking some of her milkshake.
"Me and him aren't on speaking terms as he tried asking my father if he had anything to do with Jason Blossom's murder" Avery says whispering the last part.
"Well, I'm sure he will be happy your there just make the best of it" Toni says, Avery nods and they talk the whole time they are at Pop's then Avery heads home to bed.
~The next night~
Avery had just gotten done curling her hair and doing her makeup for Jughead's party and she just got dressed.
