Chapter 10 - The Casket Girls

Rebekah's Voiceover - For canturies people have always come to New Orleans, looking for a fresh start, to find adventure, fortune and even love.

Young society women have been imported from France with the promised of marrying a proper New Orleans gentleman just like the legendary Casket girl.

Louisiana, 18th Century.

In a horse and carriage that was travelling to New Orleans were three French women waiting to arrive at their destination, one of the French women said "Sir, excuse me but how long do we have to wait before we arrive at the Governer's house?".

Rebekah's Voiceover - Even though they were excited to begin a new life with those that were promised to them well, little did they know was that the men who awaited them were far from proper and certainly not at all gentle.

The women inside of the carriage were unaware the danger when the carriage was stopped by a groupd of men with torches and alcohol in the middle of the road while blocking their path, the three women started to huddle together when they saw the men started to approach while shout and shaking the carriage, all three of them screamed and prayed for anyone to help them but they think they weren't heard until the shaking stopped by the shouts of the men outside of the carriage, all the women were looking round in confusion and frightened, they saw the man that was inside of the carriage with them slowly open the door to the carriage to look round to see what happened when he saw the bloody and deceased men scattered the floor, he looked ahead to see who could've done it and was trying to go back into the carriage but he couldn't because he was pulled out by an invisible force as he screams.

The women were more scared because they didn't know what was happening but they rleaxing a little when a woman, Rebekah, appeared in the carriage door while still have blood on her lips, she smiled at the three of them and said "There now little lambs, the bad men have gone away," Rebekah said in French "Vous etes en securite ici, veeuillez pardonner le desorde (In english, "You're safe here please forgive in the disorder")", Rebekahwent back to English and said "Us girls have to stick together, so now they are out of the way, is there anything you want to take with you?" the women, eventually, abandoned the carriage and the carnage behind them and ran from the scene with some of their belongings.

Present Day French Quarter, New Orleans.

All around New Orleans people are having fun because the annual Casket Girls Festival in which three women came to find love in a horse and carriage, it was so busy that there are people drinking, dressing up in old costumes and having fun, what the people don't know it that one person is thinking back to when all it started.

Rebekah was walking down the street thinking to when all it began with a smile on her face.

Rebekah's Voiceover - The legend of the Casket Girls still lives on to this now, but people just think of as a myth and it's celebrated in New Orleans fashion, with stylish costumes and supernatural flair, granted it's a yearly reminder of how women can be oppressed by selfish men but at the same time, how they can triumph when brave enough to fight for themselves.

Cami's Apartment.

Inside Cami is till screaming in agony on the floor while Davina is working her magic by removing the compulsion from her mind so Cami can remember everything again, while she was doing that Josh was standing in the background, Cami sighed in relief when Davina paused for a minute and Cami said "Oh my god, that really hurts" Davina came round to kneel down to Cami and said "Cami, I am sorry but it is the only way to break Klaus's compulsion, it pains me that I have to resort to this but you will be better, I promise" Josh nodded his head and said "I know what it is like Cami believe me but you're okay and hey, these notes that you made? It is very Momento of you, nice work" Cami looked between Davina and Josh and said "We have been at this all night already and I still don't understand what's happening to me and I seriously don't understand any of this.." she was cut off from saying anymore when Davina said "You will do Cami, it might take some more time but I will unlock every stolen memory, undo every piece of mind control that any vampire has ever done to you and when I am done, you will understand all of it and then you will be free to do what you please" Davina looked at cami seriously but also with understanding and said "I can stop if you like, all you got to say is 'stop'" Cami looked at the girl in front of her, shook her head and said "Don't stop, I want to rememeber everything that I was made to forget" with that Davina started to again.
