Chapter 13 - Crescent City

Father KIeran is standing at the front of the new refurbished church while everyone is sitting in the pews on either side, Kieran said "Thank you all for coming, it means more than I can tell you and so we gather here today for the first public service of our news reopened church, St Anne's an finally once again be the heart of our community, where we can congregate as people united and as such, here at this hour, we come together to praise god and give thanks and to remind ourselves what we are fight for, from what you have heard of the event that took place at our church were tragic.

While Father Kieran was talking, down in one of the rows Klaus and Marcel are sitting next to each other listening to Father Kieran and focus on him but Marcel motices someone that he recognizes across the church, he was trying to see if he was seeing things but he couldn't get a proper look at her, It was this that Klaus notices what Marcel is trying to do and said "What's the problem?" Marcel shook his head in the negative because not only was he thinking he was imaginating thing but showing Klaus it's nothings, Marcel said "No, nothing's wrong" Klaus shook his head slightly but then nodded his head to the front and said "Then pay attention Marcel, we are meant to be seem like devoted parisioners" Father Kieran continued to talk not knowing that Klaus and Marcel were talking, Kieran dsaid "...and it is that hope in our hearts and with the help of many benefactors that allowed us to be here today" Father Kieran took a second to breathe, looked round all of them and said "So we gather here with renewed spirits that made stronger and commited to the ideals of peace and love. Amen" while he saying that, he saw Bastianna enter the church and he knew that she will be causing trouble the moment he steps one foot outside of the church, he was brought back to the moment when he heard all the people "Amen".

The Cemetery.

While Kieran was having trouble with something personal, Sabine/Celeste is guiding some tourist around the Cemetery showing them the many different tombs when she said "As you can see, each tomb is well cared for, and some of you may know this and some of you don't but Families honor their dead with displays of affection and respect" while Sabine/Celeste was talking to the tourists, inside one of the tombs Monique Deveraux wakes up, she was disoriented at first but when she cleared her mind, she started to call out for someone to hear her but the group that was standing outside where she was couldn't hear her, she said "Is someone there?" Monique listened closely to see if anyone can hear her but she knew that they couldn't because she heard someone say "This place belongs to the Deveraux family, they are known throughout the Quarter for their strong connection to witchcraft" Monique banged on the tomb while she continued to shout "Please someone, help me!" Celeste/Sabine knew that someone is awake but decided to ignore that for the time being and said "If you gather round me, you can see that these are fresh bricks, which tells us that someone in the family has recently fallen" Monique finally had enough of being ignored because she screamed so much and loud, that the tourists outside of the tomb she was in looked really disturbed by the noise, they were going to get closer to the tomb to see what is happening but they couldn't because Monique bursted out of the bricks and tumbles out of the tomb, on to the ground in front of the tourists, who thought it was all for show, they were also frightened that a teenage girl fell out of it which made some of them to start taking pictures, while this was happening, Celeste/Sabine was smiling because this is what she planned, Celeste/Sabine knelt down in front of Monique to get her attention and also to be eye level with the girl, said "Hello Monique, welcome back to the land of the living" Monique was looking at her with a relieved look but also concern.

After a while some of the tourists have calmed down from seeing a girl tumbling out of the tomb but some of them are still taking pictures of the empty grave that Monique fell out of, it was that scene that Sophie walked into with confrusion but when she walked round them, she noticed that a grave was empty, she knew right away that something happened that she ran into the mausoleum where Celeste/Sabine and Monique are, Sophie looked at Celeste/Sabine and said "What is going on outside? And why is there an empty grave?" Celeste/Sabine looked up at Sophie, after spending some time explaining to Monique what happened, with a smile Celeste/Sabine said "It's a mircale Sophie, it is truly a miracle" Sophie was looking at Celeste/Sabine confused at why she is saying that but before she could say anything, Monique stood up from the bench that she was sitting on to turn round to look at her Aunt, when she was facing her Aunt, Sophie gasped in shock and relief that her neice is back from the dead, Sophie said "Monique? How? You are alive" Celeste/Sabine looked happy that they were reuinted and was about to say something when Sophie and Monique hugged each other.
