Chapter 16 - Farewell to Storyville.

Flashback - 100 years ago.

A very young Rebekah was laying down in her bed wide awake, crying and frightened while a huge storm rages outside of their house, a young Klaus Mikaelson saw that his little sister is crying while looking outside of the window, he got out of his own bed to walk over to her to try and comfort her, young Rebekah looked at her brother while sniffling and crying, young Klaus knelt down on the ground while saying "It's ok little sister, hush now, it is just a storm so don't be afraid," young Klaud got hold of his sister's hand and said "I will not let it hurt you, I promise" young Klaus quickly left which made young Rebekah softly said "Nik, don't go" young Klaus came back after grabbing a small wooden toy that he carved for his father but decided to give it to his sister instead, he held it out to young Rebekah and said "I had carved this for father when he returns, it is a brave knight but I thought you can have it so whenever it storms outside then you can be brave too" young Rebekah took it gently out of her brother's hand and said "Thank you Nik, will you stay with me 'till the storm ends? I don't want to be alone" young Klaus nodded his head, settled down next to her while holding her hand and said "Of course, I will always stay with you Rebekah, no matter what" young Rebekah closed her eyes and with her big brother next to her, she fell into a peaceful sleep.

End of Flashback.

LaFayette Cemetery.

Elijah, Klaus and Rebekah are still in a standoff while that are trapped in the cemetery by Celeste but there is a very big problem, Klaus has the indestructible White Oak stake in his hand but good news for Rebekah, Elijah has Papa Tunde's blade in his, Klaus's face went back to normal when he shouted "Rebekah!" Elijah was looking straight at his brother when he said "Rebekah, walk away" Klaus on the other hand demanded "Don't move!" Elijah turned his face slightly but didn't look away from Klaus when he said "Leave us now, Klaus and I need to have a talk" Rebekah was looking in the same direction as Elijah, she shook her head and said "I can't leave Elijah, I'm stuck here" Rebekah saw the stake in Klaus's hand and said "Elijah, he had the White Oak stake that mother created with Elena's step-father's ring" Klaus pointed it in Rebekah's direction and said "And I brought it for sister, I thought about leaving it in Mystic Falls but I don't trust the Salvatore's to not break in to our home there and get it themselves" Elijah looked at Rebekah and said "Rebekah, get out of his sight, your presence here will only serve to anger him further, so leave him to me" while Elijah was turning to look back at Klaus, Rebekah didn't argue and vamp-sped away from her brother, Klaus would've followed but Elijah got in his way and said "Don't, I am asking you nicely Niklaus, brother to brother, we end this nonesense now" Klaus scoffed while shaking his head and said "I can't believe this, you would side with that traitor, she is the reason why we had to flee from New Orleans in the first place" Elijah held his hand up and said "I get that you are angry but I am not choosing a side because there shouldn't be one, but I will not allow you to hurt our sister" Klaus turned round to walk away slightly and said "You may have forgotten Elijah but we cannot leave this cemetery," Klaus turned to look at his brother and said "How long do you really think that you can defend her?" when the last word was out of his mouth, Klaus vamp-sped away but Elijah followed him because even though what Rebekah did was wrong, he wouldn't let anything happen to her, Elijah blocks him while Rebekah was on her phone talking to Marcel on the other side of the cemetery, Elijah looked at Klaus and said "As long as it take, by whatever means necessary" Rebekah could hear what they are talking about and knew that it would only be a matter of time before things escalate.

In the Morning - St. Anne's Church.

Marcel just entered St. Anne's Church when he said "Do whatever it tgake to stay alive Rebekah because I promise you that I will get you out of there" Rebekah looked at where her brothers are and said "I have never seen him like this before Marcel, he is out of his mind with rage that he spent all night howling one obscenity-laced tirade after the next, I have this feeling that he is gonna kill me" Marcel took a deep breath and said "Alright, then stay as far away from him as best as you can Rebekah because I don't think Elena will be happy that something happened to you" Rebekah leaned on the wall, exhaled and said "How is Elena doing? Elijah filled Nik and I in on what happened, Klkaus had a hissy fit over that but he calmed down when he realised that she did what she felt was right" marcel leaned on the side of the pew and said "Elena's doing alright, she seem like she fit right in there but she misses you guy, more so Elijah" Rebekah smiled and said "Yeah, Elena had always had this connection with him that Nik and I couldn't explain back in Mystic Falls" Marcel chuckled and said "Elena told Davina and I the story of when you and your brothers helped her with her anger by training her to fight and that you had fun knocking her to the ground" Rebekah moved away slightly from the opening, giggled and said "I forgot about that, Elena tried a couple of times to kill Damon Salvatore because her anger got out of control, I think Nik had inkling that she was a werewolf even then, she got better but.." Marcel nodded his head and said "Because she was an untriggered werewolf her anger was more prfound and could get her killed, she told us" Rebekah sighed and said "I think us training her how to fight helped get rid of her energy and she could manage her anger but Elijah kept a close eye on her afterwards because he was worried that she may try and kill Damon again" Marcel scoffed and said "I think if Damon Salvatore knew that she has an army of werewolves then he would be in for a rough ride" Rebekah smirked just thinking of that prospect and said "I think the werewolves may need to get in line, Elijah may very well be the first one to have a go at Damon Salvatore" Rebekah heard Klaus say "Second, actually" Rebekah rolled her eyes and said "You and Elijah can fight for first place Nik" Rebekah sighed and said "and the whole staying away from him thing," Rebekah walked to the bench, sat down on it and said "that is a brilliant strategy but because of that dead bitch Celeste has us trapped in here 'till moonrise then my options are somewhat limited" Marcel shook his head and said "Rebekah, I am not leaving you in there, Davina will find a loophole to get you out early, then when you are free we can all go together and if Klaus comes after us then we will take him on one hell of a ride".
