Amar was in his full black tactical gear as he climbed up the wall of a 10 storey building to reach the sixth floor window.
He entered the room, immediately alert, and searching for the occupant of the flat. The room was well lit, so it wasn’t difficult to find him lying on the ground motionless, with a figure clad in all black towering over him. It was a woman.

She sensed the movement behind her and turned around and threw a knife at Amar with a flick of her wrist. He narrowly misses it.

The woman moves towards him, trying to escape. Amar tries to block her, but she's quick.
All Amar could catch was her eyes through the ski mask she was wearing. He had seen those eyes before. He loses his balance for a second, and that is all she needs.

She punches him square in the jaw and jumps out the window.
Amar wants to run after her, but he stops himself to check on the guys body. Upon realizing he's dead, he calls it in.

As he turns around, he spots the knife the woman had thrown at him. He picks it up and smiles at it before tucking it safely in his pocket. Amar waits till his team reaches the spot, to process the crime scene.

Later at the Batra house, Meghna walks towards her room with a bag. She opens the door; It's dark. She finds the switch and flips it on.

Meghna let out a surprised shriek at the view in front of her.

Amar lying on her bed, hands folded under his head. She enters the room further, questioning him instantly,

"What are you doing in my room?"

"..."

"You’re very shameless to be entering into a girl’s room and lying on her bed."

Meghna discreetly tries to hide the duffle bag she was carrying and pushes it under the bed with her leg.

Amar manages to notice it and smiles. He takes out the knife he had found earlier and starts twirling it in his right hand.

"But you’re not an ordinary girl, right? Meghna Bakshi, Level 2 RAW agent?" He turns his head towards her with a mischievous smirk on his face.

Hearing her full name and designation, Meghna looks up with surprise. Meghna's surprise turns into a smirk of her own. The cat was out of the bag now.

"I had heard tales about Major Amar Ahmad, and how he never misses. Caught me at a glance?"

"Its all a game of eyes, darling."

Amar says with smile, as he gets up from the bed and walks around to stand in front of her. He continues, his eyes turning cold suddenly,

"Shouldn’t have killed that guy though. Now hand me the drive so Indian Army can get the job done."

"I didn’t kill him. He was already dead when I reached there, the drive nowhere in sight." Meghna tries to defend herself.

"Don’t lie to me!" He hisses.

Amar pushes her against the nearest bed post with the knife against her throat. But his eyes don't have the anger that's expected, this is all just a game to him.

"I’m not. But I know who will have the drive." Meghna insists, she isn't scared of his tactics.

Amar looks at her questioningly. He lowers the knife but doesn't let go of her or move away. So she continues,

"Myers. He has been on our hit list for a while now. RAW had gotten a tip that he is coming after this drive. Looks like he got to it first."

"And where exactly do I find this Myers?"

They're still inches apart as Amar questions her further.

"Chandani chawk. There’s a local fair there tomorrow. He’s scheduled to meet his buyers there. 'We' can grab him then."

There's a spark in her eyes, as she's already planning the whole thing.

“Why should I trust you on this? How do I know you’re still not lying to me.” Amar questions her, leaning closer, she can feel his breath fanning on her cheeks.

“You shouldn’t. But you don’t have a lot of choices do you?” Meghna doesn’t give up either.

"Okay. 'We' are going to the same fair then. It's a date Meghna Bakshi." There's a smirk playing on his lips again.

Amar leans forward, closing the non-existent distance between them at an excruciatingly slow pace. Meghna closes her eyes anticipating a kiss, but he pecks her cheek and leaves the room.

Meghna finds herself alone in the room when she finally lets out the breath she's been holding.

author's note: yeah, I have no concept of how RAW ranks their agents. So don't come at me for that one. Comments and reviews are always welcomed tho. :)
