Chapter 15

It's been two weeks since I got out of the hospital and I was home alone. So I decided to go visit Soda and Steve. I went up to my room to change and I put on really cute shorts and a cute pink shirt and pink converse and decided to leave my hair down. When I got to the DX I decided to go see Soda first because I couldn't find Steve so I asked Soda "when is Darry going to adopt me" and he said when he gets off of work. I was so excited to be Sodapop and Ponyboys sister. Then me and Soda started talking and he said "Steve told me that he might ask you to be his girl" and I said said "ok I can't wait" and then Steve was right behind me and he said "you don't have to wait" and hugged me and then I said "wait were you behind me the whole time" and he said no and then gave me a kiss on the cheek. Soda started fake crying and said "he's growing up to fast" and smiled at him. Then Steve asked me " Kaley Aguilar will you be my girl please" and I said "Steve Randle I would love to be your girl" he smiled and hugged me and whispered in my ear "I love you Kaley and I will never let you go" and I said "I love you too Steve and I won't let you go either." Steve and I walked back to the Curtis's house so I could get dinner ready for the gang so me and Darry could go to the court for him to adopt me.
