Chapter 26

Today is the day that Dally show's me the surprise. I woke up early so I could make breakfast for the gang. I made them chocolate cake cause they love their chocolate cake. As I was baking the cake I heard someone get up and I turned and saw a sleepy Sodapop. He said " whatcha making " and I said "chocolate cake" and he gave me a hug and said "I'm glad your my sister." I smiled and then Darry and Ponyboy walked out and joined our hug. Then the whole gang walked in Two-bit said "why are ya'll hugging" and Soda said "cause we are happy that Kaley is part of the family." Then we stopped hugging and Soda and Darry went to go get ready for work. I started to get the cake out when I felt someone wrap their hands around my waist. I turned and saw Dally and said "here is some icing" and put it on his nose and ran outside. But he caught me and he had icing on his lips and he said "here some icing for you too" and kissed me we couldn't help but laugh at each other. Then he asked me "do you want to go for a walk" and I said "sure let go give the cake to the guys" and we lakes back to the house. I walked inside and Ponyboy giving the guys the cake and I said "thanks Pony your the best" and walked back outside with Dally. I asked Dally "where are we going" and he said "to go see the surprise" and I smiled Then we stopped at a house and Dally said "welcome home" and I just screamed jumping up and down and hugged him and he spun me around. We walked inside it was beautiful and I just hugged him and he carried in bridal style to a room and set me down on a bed and he laid down next to me and we drifted off to sleep.
