Before the rumble

Tomorrow is the day of the rumble and everyone is pumped. Today I decided to hang out with Leslie, Joarely, Ponyboy, Steve, and Sodapop so we all went to the park and started talking. While we were talking three Soc girls walked up to us and I knew exactly who they were and I was mad. It was Evie, Cherry, and Sandy and Leslie and Joarely looked mad. Then Evie went up Steve and said " hey remember me babe I missed you so much you said that you would come over yesterday" and Steve looked at me with innocent eyes and that's when I knew she was lying and just trying to flirt with him so I said "Evie he doesn't like he likes me and you better back because he is mine not yours besides you left him for a ugly Soc guy" and she just ignored what I said and kept flirting with him and then she tried to kiss him and that's when I got really mad and so I slapped her so hard that she fell to the ground. Then she backed off.
Leslie's P.O.V
After Evie tried to flirt with Steve Cherry tried to flirt with Ponyboy and that made me mad. then she asked Pony " hey pony can you still see the sunset cause I can" so I punched her in the eye and said "can you see the sunset now Cherry." Then she backed off.
Joarely's P.O.V
I figured after what Kaley did to Evie and what Leslie did to Cherry Sandy would get the point to not mess with us but I guess she is pretty stupid cause she clearly didn't get it. Sandy started flirting with Sodapop and before she could say anything else to him I punched her in the jaw and she backed off.
Kaley's P.O.V
After the Socs left everyone else went home except me and Steve and we just sat there in silence. Until he broke the silence by saying " babe look what ever Evie told you it's not true" and that's when I was about to burst because before she left she said "he will leave in an instant for me just wait and you will see." When he said it wasn't true it just made me think "is he telling me truth or is he lying." Then he said "I have to go my parents will get mad" and I said ok and then he left. I just sat there and the words that Evie said kept playing in my head and then I started to cry. When I was crying I heard someone coming and I looked up and saw Dally. Dally sat down next to me and gave me hug and I layed my head on his chest and he whispered "it's ok Kaley I know what your going through but just to let you know Evie was right about Steve you know. I just want you to know I would never do that to you I promise." I looked up at him and smiled and said "thanks Dally" and he kissed my forehead and wiped my tears away. I suddenly felt tired and drifted to sleep with my head laying on Dally's chest. The next I woke up and I was still laying on Dally's chest and he looked at me and said " I still like you" and I said "I know Dal " and then he walked me to my house so I could change and then when I changed we went to the Curtis house and met up with the gang.
