Court

At the Curtis's Steve waited with me for Darry to come home so we could get to court. Then someone came through the door and we thought it was Darry but it wasn't it was Dally. Steve was so mad when he walked through the door and I put my hand on his shoulder and he calmed down. Then Dally walked up to me and started yelling " did you seriously pick him over me" and I said " yes I did and if don't then get the heck out of here" then he slapped but this time I punched him in the jaw and he left. After I punched him Steve just stood there surprised that I did that and then he said to me " wow babe you look hot when your mad" and I blushed and smiled and then Darry walked through the door and saw my bruise so he healed it and we headed to the court. Darry got really nervous and his hands started shaking so I gave him a hug and said "it's going to be ok Darry" and he calmed down. The court asked me a lot of questions like what happened to my parents and I lied " they abandoned me" and then they accepted it and Darry was able to adopt me. When the court was over Sodapop and Ponyboy were both waiting outside and when I saw them I ran up to them and hugged them and said "I'm your guys sister now" and they both smiled when I said that. Then Darry said " since it's Friday why don't we get the gang together and have a party for our new family member" and we all agreed. Soda called Steve and told Steve the news, while me and Ponyboy went to go see Johnny. Two-bit saw us walking and we said that he could join us and he did. Ponyboy told Two-bit the news and he hugged me and spun me around and I started laughing. We ran into Johnny and told him the news and smiled at me and said "we all are glad to have you as sister in this gang" and I blushed.
