Narrator:

Jess and Mason arrived to the Station 2:30am on the dot. They wasted no time running inside and giving their name to the officer at the front desk.

They both had their lawyers on the phone, and luckily her lawyer was already on the way.

"Good Morning, my name is Ms. Jones, my nephew and his friends are being detained here?"

"Good Morning, what are their names?" The Officer asked, looking around for paper work.

"Liam Jones, Mason King, Tyrone and Caleb King"

"Oh the kids, yes, they're here"

"Why were they here for hours and not allowed any phone calls?" Jess asked and the lady was confused.

"I just came on shift half an hour ago, I don't see any paper work here for any of those names but I did see a group a teenage boys here in the holding cell. That's how I know that they're here"

"Trust you me, I'm suing the hell out of this station and the government" Mason was getting riled up, not just because of the stress and lack of sleep, but those stupid pills Symone placed in his medicine bottle. His temper was about to blow and he had no control over it.

"I will call my Lieutenant and have him sort you out, you can have a seat and give me second" she kindly offered them both a seat but they refused.

"No, take me to see my son now!"

"Sir, we can't have you go back there"

"Mason, it's okay" Jess grabbed his hand to calm him down and avoid making a scene. "She will get someone and they will be released"

At first he didn't budge, but eventually he looked at her face and he caved in. Exhaling deeply, with his mouth in a straight line.

"Fine"

He continued speaking to his lawyer on the phone while the officer went for her lieutenant.

"Jess.."

"Tanya"

"Hey girl, I came as fast as I could"

Tanya went to college with Jess, she studied law and was one of the best in town. Not to mention, she's a close family friend.

"The Officer went to get her Lieutenant, I don't know what's going on, this doesn't even feel real"

"I promise you, by time as I'm done with their ass, you won't have to work a day in your life. You can retire if you want"

"I don't even care about the money, I just want my baby back"

"And we will, I promise you. Now Where is this Lieutenant person?"

A tall slender white male came out to speak to them.

"Good Morning folks, my name is Lieutenant Dean, how may I assist?"

"My nephew and his friends were taken into custody yesterday and weren't allowed to make any phone calls to contact us. They are minors and they were held without contacting an adult"

"I have no knowledge of any kids being detained here. Is this true Officer Kelly?" He looked at the officer

"Yes sir, I saw them huddled together in the back when I came to clock in"

"Well who brought them in?"

"Allison Legrice's father ! He brought them in!" Jess informed him.

"Officer Legrice brought them in under who's orders?" He asked the female officer and she shrugged.
