Songs: My Favorite Songs of May

This is gonna be a monthly thing, so I will hope to keep this up for a while. I hope this chain doesn't break, like TIMJ... that was a mess....

But, please keep in mind that these Top 8 songs are of my own preference, not that of official song billboards. Old songs can come up in here, because I just discovered it, and I still love it.

Most of the songs I know contain some form of "bad" reference or word in the lyrics, but its just that I am different... :D If you disagree with any of the messages or contents of the songs, don't even continue reading. You are just killing yourself.

Again, I did not create any of the songs or their lyrics, so it is not my fault if it offends you. If it does, please don't SPAM the comments or my PM inbox.

Enjoy!!! :D

1) This Summers Gonna Hurt by Maroon 5

I love the upbeat, expressive tone of the song. It may be all too cuss-y, but it also makes the song so much more stress-free and enjoyable. I also love that the band places a hidden meaning to the song, despite the constant screaming, in complaint to the summer's misery.

2) Novocaine by Fall Out Boy

I discovered this song, along with JPB. At first, I had to take time to process the beauty of it. After a couple listens, I grew addicted to Novocaine. It's like a drug, as the title suggests. I really love the upbeat, metallic feeling that it radiates every time I listen. It also possesses an awesome bridge, swinging my soul into the trance of the music.

3) Jet Pack Blues by Fall Out Boy

I love the kinda-repetitive, but meaningful chorus to this song. It seems to bring back memories, although I don't know where the connection comes from. It love that FOB can transform a sad meaning into a catchy song.

4) How by Maroon 5

Same like when I discovered the song over 6 months ago, I still am addicted to this one. I only love the song more and more throughout the days. I actually try to sing the song whenever I can, but I always find room for improvement. I love the piano-work on this song, more outstanding than others that I am familiar with.

5) D.M.C.S. by Nah

This one is a Vietnamese Rap, and it is about... well.... a person that hates... he don't like... he... uh.... it's about a person that hates a government, and wants to overrule it. It has a BUNCH of cuss words that most non-Viets probably already know... I'm not gonna speak too much about this one. I love its rebellious theme. (I feel like@ElaineKane is gonna love this song.)

6) Thanks for the Memories by Fall Out Boy

I found this one while back, and it still stays in my mind as a classic. It's amazing. I really find this song a mood-changer, because it is really breaks me out from pain.

7) Sugar by Maroon 5

Same... as always. I am not surprised that I can't hit some of the high notes, but its always cool to test my skill. Everything about this song is amazing. :D

8) Losing My Mind by Maroon 5

I found this song while browsing through Wattpad. Some of these Fan-fics are amazing. Anyway, its meaning is pretty varied. I sometimes feel like just playing this while lying in bed, before sleep. So much regret in this song. It brings me down, but it makes me find the light. It's like a vaccine.

9) Must Get Out by Maroon 5

This song happened to play at PE, when the teacher played a Maroon 5 playlist on Pandora. I knew it was Maroon 5 from the beginning -because of its vibe- even before the first lyrics. This song made me re-think about Songs About Jane, and how it wasn't so bad as it seemed.

10) See You Again by Wiz Khalifa ft. Charlie Puth

Not much to say. It's an awesome song. I kinda feel like Charlie Puth wanted to make fun of us low-pitch singers. I can hit high, but just not to his level. I have no idea how he does it.
