At the Agreste Mansion, the teenage male supermodel, Adrien Agreste gets himself dressed and ready for another quarter of school, while his Kwami, Plagg rambles on and on about cheese.
Plagg: "Why does Spring Break have to end so early? Think of all the cheese that I-I mean we could've eaten together."
Adrien: "Heh, Plagg, you eat cheese every day."
Plagg: "Yeah, but not while at school. I'd be lucky to even get a single chunk of Camembert."
Just then, Adrien hears a knock on his bedroom door.
Adrien: "Hide Plagg!"
With enough time to react, Plagg conceals himself inside his holder's white jacket before Nathalie Sancoeur, Gabriel Agreste's personal assistant, opens the door and welcomes herself into her bosses' son's bedroom.
Nathalie: "Good morning, Adrien. Your father requested me to inform you that your five o'clock photoshoot has been cancelled this afternoon."
Adrien: "Really?"
Adrien displays an ounce of delight, as the extra time would be an great opportunity to spend time with friends.
Nathalie: "Instead, you will only be attending your fencing class today after school. And once home, your father would like you to memorize your lines for Thomas Astruc's modern adaptation of Romeo and Juliet."
Hearing his new schedule for today, Adrien sighs, dispirited.
Adrien: (Sigh) "Yes, Nathalie."
Suddenly, Nathalie starts coughing and her knees fall to the floor; her sickness making the bones in her legs frail. Concerned, Adrien rushes over to help Nathalie on her feet.
Adrien: "Nathalie! What's wrong, a-a-are you okay!?"
Nathalie: "I-It's nothing Adrien, just a cough. Uh, please, come downstairs with me. I've prepared you pancakes for breakfast."
