Hiatus

Alright listen, this pains me as much as it may pain you, but I'm putting this little project on hiatus. Now this isn't to say I'm dropping this whole story, especially not after seeing how much you all dig my creativity, and I understand if you're still thirsty for more, but like everybody else, I have a life of my own. Besides that, I've realized that this is just stupid. Subscribing to Wattpad $60 a year, for a story I haven't even touched l since January?

I had this whole thing prewritten before I graduated high school, and after posting the first few chapters, I realized some areas were too lackluster and that I wasn't exerting enough potential into my work. Plus, I guess you could say I've lost a lot of inspiration, as well as interest in Miraculous. I haven't watched Miraculous for quite a while because I've been hyper-focused on familiarizing myself with anime and indie animation shows on YouTube with the time I have off from work.

To be frank, the only reason I started this project was because 1. High school was hell and I seriously needed something stimulating to keep me from losing my shit, and 2. After how they assassinated Chloe's development, had the Paris citizens build a statue in honor of terrorist, and we can't forget about how they cut Adrien/Cat Noir out of the long-awaited final battle, I thought maybe a grade A amateur like myself I could write a fanfic that's much more competent than what the Miraculous writing team can do. I was looking to include a prom night, a building fire scene, some unexpected horrors, even an alternate ending where Spider-Man is actually the one to bust Hawk Moth for good. Unfortunately, the story's progression has been hindered by some serious writer's block. Just goes to show that sometimes it's better to have a full-on writing team for this kinda stuff.

I still have cool ideas that I haven't even uploaded yet, and believe me, I want to pick this project back up again, but I rushed into things too fast, and I think it's best to take it slow for now and do another, more thorough rewrite. Once again, I am not a quitter, and to anyone who was getting invested in this story, I'm sorry if this is disappointing, but this is my choice, and I would much appreciate it if you would respect my decision. And also, no threats plz. I don't, and I won't, tolerate that.
