Peter continues treading his way back to campus to pick up his device, that is until he feels his Spider-Sense tingle. Suddenly, the alarm goes off, and a group of burglars wearing ski masks burst outside the Paris le Grand Hotel lobby, carrying heavy sacks of jewelry over their shoulders.
Mayor Bourgeois: "Help! Police! Those thieves stole my valuables, and the diamond encrusted shoes I purchased for my daughter!"
Chloe: "They what!?"
Peter: (In his head) "So much for in and out."
Peter's instincts kick in, and he hides away to find a place to change into Spider-Man. At this point, Adrien's car drives by, and Young Agreste catches a full glimpse of the unfolding situation. For Cat Noir to jump into action, Adrien needs to escape the watch of his protective bodyguard. Luckily, Adrien always has an excuse to leave the car whenever duty calls.
Adrien: "I need to use the bathroom. Can we stop please?"
The Bodyguard silently nods, with body language suggesting that Adrien better make it quick.
Adrien: "Thanks."
Adrien exits the car and dashes into an alleyway, where it's safe enough for his Kwami to be in the open.
Plagg: "Do we have to do this? Cat Noir fights supervillains, not burglars. That's what the police are for."
Adrien: "Cat Noir can save the day in any way possible. Plagg, Claws out!"
Plagg: "Aww, man."
Plagg is vacuumed into the Black Cat Miraculous, and Adrien performs his Cat Noir transformation sequence.
