It's 8 pm, and it's time for Marinette and Peter to hit the hay. However, Parker's eyes stay wide open as he patiently waits for Marinette to fall asleep so Spider-Man can sneak out and meet up with Ladybug and Cat Noir on the Eiffel Tower for their rendezvous.

Peter: (In his head) "Marinette's awfully quiet; must be out cold. And now, time for Spidey to sneak out for his little superhero meet and greet."

Since the door to the deck is directly over Mari's bed, Pete couldn't possibly risk climbing over her and disturbing her sleep. Plus, using the bakery entrance wouldn't be an option either, what with the door chime hooked up and the Dupain's new security system installed. Instead, Parker ditches his sleeping bag and stealthily crawls around Marinette's bedroom walls in the silence of snowfall, while taking extra precaution not to accidentally rip one of Mari's Adrien posters with the minuscule blade hairs on his adhesive fingertips. Next, Pete clings to the ceiling and furtively crawls upwards, slipping his way outside through the trapdoor. However, right as Parker exits through the roof, Marinette's revealed to not be under her sheets. While Peter was brushing his teeth, Mari used the old "Pillow under the covers rearrangement trick" as a deception to escape as Ladybug.
