Death of Leo

"Leo is gone! He's gone!" I cry, Raph holds me in his arms. Oscar took Jen upstairs, I scream, I never thought I would feel this kind of pain ever in my life. "It's gonna be ok, everything is gonna be ok." I hold on to his arm for dear life. I can't breath, it feels like my whole world has ended. "How could this happen? How could any of you let this happen?" His brothers look at each other. "How do you let someone poison him?" No responses, of course my questions were rhetorical but at the same time I was also hoping for a answer. "Come on Blue, take a seat." I can't stop the tears from falling. "What will I tell Jen? How do tell her that her father is...is g-gone?" I get up and rush to the trash can. "Here's some water." I take the bottle from Donnie. "I will be in my room, I want to be alone for a bit. Don't bother to check on me." I get to our room and grieve for him. I feel myself getting dizzy and o lay on the floor.

I wake up in the hospital, everyone is here. "Oh honey, I'm so glad you're ok. The doctor said you passed out from the stress. He also said you're pregnant. Blue?" I shake my head. "No, no, no, not without Leo." Mom tries to calm me down. "Blue, honey, everything will be ok." Rebecca squeezes my hand gently. The doctor walk back in with his clipboard. "You and the baby are perfectly healthy and good to go."

It's been a few weeks and Raph's been taking care of me and my kids, I still haven't told Jen about Leo. "Come on Blue, eat, ya pregnant. Ya do dis every time. Oscar sits next to me, he takes my fork full of Mac cheese and begin feeding me. The tears begin to fall. "Babes." Oscar wipes my tears. "Come on, eat some more, then we can go take a walk outside." Jen runs up to me frowning. "Where's daddy?" Donnie picks her up and takes her away. "He's on a very important mission that involves him needing to be gone for a while." I whimper as Oscar rubs my back. "It's ok babes, Jen isn't here, let it out." I begin sobbing. "He's gone, Leo is gone! He's gone, he's gone." He holds me in his arms. "I know, I know. Hey Raph."
"Let me see her, I got it from here. Is she done eating?" Oscar nods and I'm lifted out my seat by Raph he walks up the stairs to his room and shuts the door. "Leo told me if anything ever happens to him to take care of ya and dats what I'm gonna do."I bury my face in his chest whimpers and purrs escape my chest. "I miss him too." He smells like Leo's favorite cologne. "You smell like him. You smell like his favorite cologne." He picks me up again and take me to my room that I share with Leo and his smell is everywhere. "Yeah I sprayed a lot of dat stupid cologne dats why I smell like 'em." I sob into the sheets. "Leo." I hear Raph pulls me into his arms, I cuddle into him and fall asleep.

I wake up next to Raph, I sit wincing at the headache that I have. "Here." He sits up handing me a bottle of water. "Donnie said you would wake up with a headache from crying too much." Oscar walks opening the blinds. "Morning you two, Raph, your girls need diaper changing. Blue, get dressed you and I are going out." Raph gets out da bed and gags. "I smell like Leo's stupid cologne." Oscar smiles kissing his cheek. "It smells good on you." He smiles. "Really?" Oscar nods grabbing my hand. "Come on babes, let's get some food." He helps me freshen up and get dressed for the day. "There, don't you feel better?" I don't respond. "Mikey is making pancakes." The tears fall. Oscar holds me in his arms. "It's ok, everything will be ok. Don't forget, you're pregnant now, ok?" I cry again. "I brought her a protein shake ta keep her weight up and da baby." Oscar sets the straw on my lips. "Come on, drink." I take a few sips and it's really good! I began drinking down the shake. We go down stairs and everyone is there. Rebecca and my mother get up hugging me. "We are so sorry Blue." My ears go back. "Momma." I whimper. "Sshh... I know. Oh my sweet girl, everything will be ok." I continue to cry in her arms. "Mommy?" I look over at Jen. "Are you ok mommy?" I nod wiping my tears. "Yea baby, I'm ok." She hugs my leg. "Daddy will come back he's just on a very long mission." I gently smile. "Yea, he is. Yeah, yeah, he's just on a mission, he will be back soon." Oscar grabs my hand. "Blue don't do that, don't do that to yourself." I pull away . "No he's coming back, he's coming back, he always comes home. He's not dead." Everyone looks at each other then they look back at me with worry. "Don't touch me!" I snap at Donnie. "He's not dead, he's not dead." I walk away back to my room, mumbling to myself. "Leo's not dead, he's not dead." I hear my door open. "Blue? You ok?" I sit in the corner staring at Mikey and Donnie. I scratch at my arms they feel irritated. "Blue, Leo is gone, remember? Leo is not on a mission, we only said that to keep Jen in the dark." I grab the lamp and throw it at them which Mikey catches. "Get out, GET OUT!!" I growl. The door closes leaving me alone with my thoughts of Leo and where he could be, am I going insane?
