Another ambush

Ever since the incident Leo's been there for me he lays in bed with me all day until I'm ready to get up. Sometimes he carries me into the living room to lay down and watch tv until he's done training. I talk to Donnie every two weeks to help me cope with the loss of our twins. Oscar stays by my side at all time whenever Leo leaves. Leo used to talk to Donnie about it but that slowly starting to change. He's been training and going out on patrol more.

I wake up crying in the middle of the night "it's ok I got you." I curl up against him as he holds me close as possible. "It hurts." His hand slides to my stomach where the twins were. "Shit." he breathes out as he continues to rub my stomach. He continues to go circular motions on my stomach until I finally went back to sleep.
Another week has passed and I hardly see him anymore, I started crying alone a lot more because of the lost of our twins and the lack of comfort. Oscar and Raph would comfort me now that Leo became more absent.

"Leo?" I whimper grabbing his arm. "What Blue? I'm busy." He says calmly, I bury my face in his arm in tears "Blue why are you crying? What's wrong this time?" I don't answer. "You should talk to Donnie, I have to get back to training." I look up at him his body is tense. "Leo, are you mad at me? Do you hate me?" He startled me when he punches the wall leaving a big crack "FUCK BLUE JUST GO TALK TO DONNIE! I-I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE WITH THE CRYING AND YOU NEEDING ME ALL THE TIME!! WHAT ABOUT ME BLUE? I'M HURTING TOO! THEY WERE MY BABIES TOO YOU'RE NOT THE ONLY ONE THATS HURTING!" Mikey comes in along with Raph, Donnie, Oscar and master Splinter. He looks into my shocked eyes. "Blue I'm sorry." Oscar blocks him. "Uh-uh." I stare at him hurt. I run passed Mikey. "Leonardo we need to talk." It feels like my heart stopped. "WHAT THE FUCK LEO!" Mikey says angrily. Raph catches me before I could leave the sewer. My legs start to shake a bit, I'm too weak stand. "I got you" I hear Raph say. "I-I always cared about how he felt I try to comfort him as much as possible. They were his too, it hurts that he thinks I don't care, I try not to make it all about me." Raph sits me on the couch Oscar sits next to me. "it wasn't your fault and it wasn't his either you know that, right?" "Ye-yes" Mikey sits next to me. "Don't blame yourself Blue none of us knew this was going to happen, alright?" I rest my head on Oscar's shoulder. "I'm sorry guys" Raph smiles. "Don't apologize we're always going to be here for you no matter what."

We watch Leo walk pass us. Oscar growls. "Where are you going?" He doesn't answer instead he leaves. His mood is way off "Le..." Mikey stops me "no, don't." He stops me from going after him. "just let him go he needs to cool off a bit." I shake my head getting up. "He's hurting too, I need to do something" I run after Leo "Leo!" He keeps walking through the sewers "Le-Ah!" He catches me "be careful next time" I hold onto his arm and we just walk in silence. He helps me up out the sewer then comes out after me closing the manhole. He pulls the fire escape stairs down for me to climb "Leo do you want to talk?" I get on the roof after he does "there's nothing to talk about" I scoff "but, I thought you wanted to, you know?" He looks over the city "no, I don't know" I touch his shoulder "to talk" he shoves me off. "What is there to talk about? We lost our kids. What happened, happened. We should be over this by now." The tears start to fall again "Leo, do you still love me?" He looks at me with soft eyes "Blue I could ne- GET DOWN!" He quickly grabs me and turns around "not another ambush" he use one hand to pull out his katana. He moves his sword behind me "I need to get you out of here" he calls his brothers as he carries me "LEO!!" He gets off his communicator "shit! Hang on!" I scream as we fall off the sky scraper "stay on my plastron and hold your breath in 3...2..." I take a deep breath "1!" He goes into his shell which I never seen him do before. I feel my body sink in the water. I try to resurface but Leo holds me close poking his head out shaking his head. My lungs are starting to tighten and Leo seems to notice, he leans in our mouths touching as he puts air back into my lungs. He stares at me, I nod letting him know I'm ok, he looks up then carries us both back up the surface. "Are you ok? Are you hurt?" He checks my body for wounds. "We're here!" Mikey says "took you guys long enough, the foot came after us and... is that gas?" Mikey laughs "sorry" Oscar rolls his eyes. "Not you." I fall against Leo. "Blue what's wrong?" I start to mumble "my head, I feel light headed..." he catches me "Blue stay with me, don't fall asleep, shit guys hold your breath" Raph catches Oscar and I hear Mikey groan. "Too late dude" Mikey falls to the ground. Donnie is already on the ground passed out, Raph is trying to fight it as much as possible. "Raph take Blue!" My visions getting fuzzy "wh-what?" Raph grabs me "w-we g-got- ugh- we gotta go Blue. Oscar, stay awake baby." My eyes are slowly closing "Wait! No! Leo!" I grab his arm "go Blue I will be fine" he kisses me one last time "I'm sorry blue for yelling at you I..." he shakes his head trying to stay awake "I love you and I will never stop loving you." Then everything goes black.
