Postpartum

I grab my phone calling Leo for the 6th time "Leo pick up your phone." Anthony continues to cry "I know, I know" I try to calm him down as well as his brother and  sister who is also fussy. They've been a little more fussy than usual. Leo and his brothers are working more shift and bringing in a lot of money "Please, Leo pick up." his phone keeps going straight to voice mail. "Why are you still crying? I did everything." Oscar is with Vern so he can see his nieces. My cousin is busy with her job and Leo is also busy. I'm alone. I call Leo a few more times "please, please pick up. Leo pick up." Straight to voicemail. I lay Anthony back in the crib. I can't take it anymore. I slide down against the wall crying myself. Our kids will be three months old soon. They drink from a bottle with breast milk instead of the powdered milk crap. I cover my ears to block out the noise. "I don't know what to do."

My bed room door opens. "I am so sorry I missed your call. The other co- Blue? Blue hey, hey open your eyes."I look into his eyes. "What's wrong?" I can't control my crying. "They won't stop! They won't stop crying! I tried everything!" He holds me close. "Ok how about I take care of them while you enjoy a hot both and I will bring you some fruits to snack on and give you a massage. He Carrie's me out the baby room and to the bedroom. He makes a bubble bath for me as I stripped out my clothes. "I can still hear them crying." He picks me up. "Don't worry about that." He kiss my forehead before laying me in the tub. I can smell the lavender scented bath salt. The smell of the mint soap relaxes me. He walks out giving me a little time alone.

"They were a bit fussy but I was finally able to put them to sleep. Don and Mikey is still working and Raph is at Verns with dad." I didn't know splinter left. He takes his pants off and I blush. "Are you blushing? You seen me naked before. What makes this any different?" I look away shrugging. He slides in the tub in front of me. "Blue." I look at him. "Come here." I crawl over to him and he holds me in his arms and I cry. His hand runs through my hair. "You want to talk to Donnie about it later?" I nod. "Thank you Leo. I don't know what has gotten into me. I was doing fine with them by myself for the past month and now I'm falling apart." He sighs "remember what the doctor said after you two gave birth?" I shake my head. "He said it's common for some new mothers to have postpartum depression. It might not come now but it can come around later." He kiss my cheek down to my neck.

After our bath I lay on my stomach on the bed naked. I hear him grab a bottle of oil and begins to massage my back. "I love you so much." I moan as he hits the right spots. He laughs. "I love you too." He grabs my tail and gently pulls at it. "Leo what are you doing?" He leaves light kisses down my neck. "Nothing." I giggle as he nibbles the back of my neck. "You're a good mother to our kids Blue, don't ever doubt yourself. Understand?" I moan nodding my head as he pumps his finger in and out of me. "Leo!" He curls his finger inside of me hitting that spot repeatedly. He pulls at my tail again. My ass is up pushing against him to gain more friction. After our love making Leo cleans me up and bring something to eat. My ears perk up when I hear my mothers voice. "Blue? Are you here?" Leo looks at me. "She has a key to the house?!" I smile awkwardly. "For emergencies?" Leo shakes his head grabbing sweat pants to throw on. "Blue you should rest." I shake my head. "It's fine Leo." I wince in pain. "Blue?" I smile softly. "I'm ok, I promise just sore." I throw on my pajama shorts and tank top.

"Hey mom." She hugs me. "Ow." She pulls back. "Are you ok? You're bruised what happened?" Leo walks passed us with a beer. "We fucked." I blush at his comment. "Leo!" I say surprised. He shrugs smirking as he drinks down his beer and sit on the couch. "Ugh! Aren't you supposed to be at work." He sets his beer down. "Huh, that's weird. I forgot you exist." I roll my eyes at the two walking away. "You two are like bickering children." At this point I don't know if they like each other or like bickering at each other. I grab a bottle of water from the fridge. "Oh, right, I came by to see my grand babies. I can't believe they will be three months old." I sit next to Leo looking for the remote. "They're sleeping right now, please don't wake them." I beg her. She sits with us on the other couch. "We're back bitches!" I hush Oscar quickly but it was too late. "Oscar!" I snap. Mom gets up. "I will take care of them." "Sorry babes, I see you and Leo had some fun today. Any way I'm going to take a nap. Raph goes to the fridge to grab a beer and sits. "What time does Mikey and Don get off? They been out for a while now." Leo shrugs. "Donnie is probably in the forensics lab still or flirting with Kayla, well trying to flirt. He really likes her and you know Mikey, he's getting a lot of attention by the girls because he's the baby in the family." I laugh. "Mikey is adorable." I say and he rolls his eyes. Not you too." I laugh.
