I had spent the next couple of days thinking about the events that had been happening recently. And I didn't know how to take care of it. I knew that what was happening with me and Gabriel wasn't going to be permanent. So I didn't want to get any ideas, because I wasn't sure of what was going on. But I wasn't going to force anything, at least not now. Maybe never.

Gabriel's POV:
The last few days, my head has been scrambled. Well, scrambled is an understatement, but you get the point. I didn't know what to do, what to say, what to feel. I knew that being with her would be a huge risk. Because if, god forbid me and her are to not work, it would hurt more. Because it's one of those situations where I would have to say goodbye, first to the friendship, and the love. And that was not something I would be looking forward to. Ever.

'Hello? Kris? Are you with me?' Eva snaps her fingers near my face, getting my attention.
'Huh?' I look at her.
'I'm sorry. What did you say?' I tap her thigh.
'Nothing. I just asked if you're okay. You've been a bit off these days. What's happening with you?' Eva asks.
'Yeah yeah.' I scratch my neck. 'Everything's just fine.' I smile.
'Okay.' Eva looks down weirdly.

'Gabriel. Gabriel.' Luca shakes Gabriel.
'Huh? Yeah yeah?' Gabriel faces Luca.
'Bro, what's happening to you? You're being so weird.' Luca looks at Gabriel.
'Nothing. Nothing's happening. Just tired.' Gabriel yawns.
'You sure?' Luca puts his hand on Gabriel's shoulder.
'Mhm.' Gabriel nods and looks down.
