Open the door.

'This is me.' I chuckle as we get to my hotel room.

'This is you.' Kylian chuckles.

After a couple moments of silence, Kylian takes a deep breath.

'Well... it was a pleasure meeting you. And um... talking to you.' Kylian looks at me.

'You too.' I pull him into a hug.

'Well, I'll see you. At some point in this life.' Kylian chuckles.

'Yeah.' I let out a little chuckle.

I head inside and close my door, but I regret it as soon as the door closes and I head right back to the door and swing it open.

'Wait.' I call out, making Kylian turn around.

'What's wrong?' Kylian asks.

'Stay.' I say in a low tone.

'What?' Kylian comes closer to me.

'Stay.' I repeat.

'Wait what? Here?' Kylian asks confused.

'Mhm.' I nod and signal for Kylian to come in.

'Kris...' Kylian looks at me with a pleading look.

'Please.' I smile.

'Okay. Fine.' Kylian comes in the room.

*****

'Thank you. Really.' I smile and close the door.

'Whatever makes you feel better.' Kylian smiles.

'You can um... get comfortable. If you want to.' I smile and signal to the bed.

'Um... thanks.' Kylian chuckles nervously and sits on the bed.

After a couple of moments of silence, Kylian puts his hands in mine and looks into my eyes.

'I'm sorry.' Kylian speaks.

'For what?' I ask confused.

'That um... you weren't truly loved and that... it made you cruel.' Kylian shrugs.

'That's all I've ever heard in my life. People feeling sorry for me. When I can't even feel sorry for myself.' I shrug.

'I know. Trust me, I really do. Maybe... I don't know... in another life... you wouldn't be in this situation or even in a relationship, and I... um... could've shown you what love is really supposed to feel like.' Kylian speaks with an almost feeling sorry face.

'Maybe.' I smile and look down.

Mine and Kylian's moment is cut short by loud banging on the door.

'Kristen open this door right now, before I break it!' Gabriel's voice is heard behind the door.

'Just great.' I roll my eyes and get up.

'Kristen open the door.' Gabriel repeats.

'No.' I speak.

'Kristen. Now. I'm being serious.' Gabriel lays his head on the door.

'No. I'm not opening the door. Leave.' I roll my eyes.

'Just open it.' Kylian whispers.

'Why?' I whisper back.

'I'm not leaving you. Just open it.' Kylian comes next to me and puts his hands on my shoulders.

'Promise?' I look at him.

'Promise.' Kylian smiles and pecks my forehead.

I open the door, revealing a really angry Gabriel. Like always.

'Woah woah woah.' Gabriel's eyes widen when he sees I have company.

'What?' I ask confidently.

'What is he... doing in my hotel room?' Gabriel asks.

'Our. Our hotel room.' I correct him.

'Whatever it is. What are you doing here?' Gabriel asks Kylian.

'He dropped me off while you were too busy dealing with your attitude and being a prick.' I roll my eyes.

'I'm sorry what?' Gabriel makes a face.

'What you heard.' I cross my arms.

'What do you think you're doing?' Gabriel looks at Kylian.

'Taking care of a girl that loves you but clearly that's not enough for you.' Kylian breaks his silence.

'Since when are you the fucking spokesperson? You ain't fucking spoken the whole time we were at the stupid party.' Gabriel says annoyed.

'Since now, Gabriel. Since now.' Kylian says with an attitude.

Gabriel chuckles and looks down.

'Wouldn't be the first time she's gone to a footballer for moral support.' Gabriel laughs and walks away.

'Wow.' I say in a low tone and close the door.

Kylian looks down and sighs.
