My Fault

I don't want arguments.

A couple hours later:
'Can we talk?' Gavi looks at me.

'Yeah of course.' I look at Gavi.

'Look, all I'm asking from you is to just explain the situation to me. Just so I don't die stupid.' Gavi chuckles.

'Look, obviously I don't arguments. I don't want to argue with you. And I'm not really used to this. Because if this happened the other way round, which it did at one point, their would've been screaming, banging, crying whatever you wanna call it.' I start explaining.

'Yeah.' Gavi nods.

'He said that he came to try to make things right. And I basically said that that's fine. And that I appreciate the gesture, but I'm happy with you and I don't feel the need to go back to what was before. And that was kind of it.' I smile.

'But I mean... that's stuff you probably already knew. He never actually fell out of love with you. It's obvious. But it's your choice, Kris. I know how much you loved him. And I know how much he still loves you, but I just don't want that to cause bad things for us. That's it.' Gavi explains.

'Listen, you've literally made me so happy. And you know how much I care about you. But Gabriel is like, he's... he's the first guy I actually ever actually... you know... loved. And it's hard, it's hard seeing his face, it's hard talking to him. It's just hard in general. But that has not and will not change my feelings and love for you.'

'I know. I just want you to know that I'm not gonna be upset with any decision you decide to make. Because that's not me. It's your life, and I don't want to get in the way of that.' Gavi smiles and pulls me into a hug.

'Thanks Gav.' I chuckle and smile.
