'I knew you'd miss me when I would be gone.' I chuckle.
'What do you mean?' Gabriel laughs.
'Just after every adventure I've taken, you still stuck by my side. And not everyone would've done that. Or put up with it. So I just want to say thank you.' I smile.
'Because no one will ever love you like I do. That's the thing, K.' Gabriel smiles.
'I guess not.' I smile and nod.
'I knew you'd miss me once the thrill expired. I knew it.' Gabriel admits.
'Yeah. I guess you're right.' I give an approving nod.
'And I'm sorry. Again.' Gabriel looks up at me.
'Yeah.' I nod. 'Me too.'
'Yeah.' Gabriel sniffles.
'Promise me, that whatever happens, you'll never leave my side.' I look at Gabriel.
Gabriel puts his pinky out.
I interlock my pinky with his pinky.
'I love you forever.' Gabriel gets up and kisses my forehead.
'I love you forever.' I chuckle and point at our matching tattoo.
