Zaratorio: The Story Continues

'Are we in North Africa?' asks Anna.
'Yes, I think so' replies Paulina.
'Or we've taken a trip to the zoo, because I'm sure I just saw a camel!'
'You did, and we really are in Egypt. I travelled around Arabia when I was young, but this is ancient Egypt - because the temples and pyramids are bright and sparkling, as opposed to crumbling and slightly ruined. Let us get to higher ground; the Nile is clearly in flood!'
Once this has been achieved, Paulina takes several deep breaths and enters 'the birds-eye trance', which means that she can see over - or around - various pillars, sand dunes and farm buildings in the immediate vicinity.
The river Nile is alarmingly high and getting higher!
'Yes, Anna. I can see a temple nearby. Judging by the iconography, I believe it is dedicated to the goddess Hathor and ... yes! ... I can see Sehzula on the front steps.
But I fear she may well drown soon. So I am going to try and include her in a short time jump. If we are lucky we will reappear here in a couple of hours time.'

Harnii Smith has not seen No-ee, the Odgan, for several nights and so she is more than a little sad.
Even milk and cookies cannot put a smile on her face.
But tonight as she lies sleeping, she rouses very slightly because her friend is suddenly present and has placed one of their tentacles on her head.
Once again, Harnii has entered the Odgan's dream world and she can see a whole crowd of alien visitors approaching a farm. Judging by the surrounding countryside, they are not in Russia or Ukraine, but probably in the British Isles, or perhaps in Ireland.
The Odgans are usually aquatic, but they clearly have the ability to move around on land; else how could No-ee visit her? Now they are releasing the farm animals from the various buildings in which they are confined - Harnii is reminded of the story of Animal Farm - but soon she is awake, and both the vision and No-ee are gone.

'Paulina, is it really you?' cries Sehzula.
'Of course! I seem to have really got the hang of this time travel caper, don't you know!'
The two women embrace, before Paulina continues.
'Anna is nearby. We must leave here before the temple is completely flooded. Let us be gone!'
