We always used to say
"Saturdays take the pain away."

The next day day flew by like the wind. It was a pretty amazing Friday. They had only three lectures and then theater practice and then they were done for the day. Emma and Elora had planned on going to Elora's parents house and spend some time there. They hadn't spent time together in a while. Only the two of them. And since they had nothing better to do, (they had a lot of things to do such as assignments, Emma had to sort out the costumes for the play, Elora had to practice her lines, both of them had ten tests coming up the next week), they decided to spend some time together.

As they were on their way in Elora's father's car, Alex called Edward.

"Hey coach." Alex's voice came as Edward had connected his phone to the car's Bluetooth.

"Hey Alex. What's up?" Edward said and both Elora and Emma looked at each other with questioning looks. None of them had even heard Edward talk to someone like that.

"You forgot the ummm.... The thingy. Shit I'm not getting the name." Alex said and Elora chuckled. This was a good thing she could use to make fun of him.

"The notebook?" Edward said realizing he had forgotten his notebook with the game plans.

"Yup. That. Why do I always not get that name?" Alex said in an annoyed tone.

"You should go to middle school again you know." Elora said and the entire car was silent.

"Hi Brown." Alex said in a tone that was between embarrassed and cheeky.

"Hey Alex." Emma said.

"Great. Now there are two people who can make fun of me." Alex said and the entire car was full of laughter.

"Don't worry I won't take the matter to principal Hekins." Elora said.

"Oh shut up. I was talking to coach and not you." Alex said. "So coach what do we do? You definitely can't trust me with this. I will not allow that."

"Well you can come and drop it offb that is if you want." Edward said.

And after a moment of silence Alex said, "Sure. I'll do that. I'll see you there." And with that he hung up.

"Wait for it...." Edward said. And just then Edward's phone rang.

"Umm.... Great. Where do you live exactly coach?" Alex's voice came and Elora and Emma tried really hard to hold their laugh.

"I'll send you the location Alex. See you there."

"Seee you there coach." And with that Alex hung up.

"So he is as dumb as he looks." Elora said finally.

"No he's not. You'd be surprised actually. And the poor kids been through a lot. So give him a break." Edward said and Elora could only nod. Although her there was something in her father's voice that sounded oddly strange.

As soon as they reached home, after saying hello to Hellen, they ran upstairs just as they used to when they were younger. When Elora came out of the bathroom after freshening up, she noticed Emma was crying.

"Hey... Everything okay?" Elora said. Emma quickly wiped her tears and smiled and nodded. Her smile, nor her nod was convincing for Elora. Nonetheless she didn't push it because she knew that Emma didn't liked to be pushed. She took time to open up but she did at a point.

"So.... What do we do?" Elora said in an attempt to lighten the mood.

"I don't know El.... Maybe we could watch a movie?" Emma sauggested.
