Alex exited Elora's room with a smile on his face. It felt great having her back. But he had lied to her about why he wasn't going to see the play. He had bought the tickets only because she was a part of it, and now that she's not going to be in it, there wasn't really any point in going for it. And what he said back there wasn't a complete lie, he did need to 'help' his brother.

The funny thing was that Axel never needs help. He just doesn't. He has never before even bothered about whether he looks good for a girl or not. And Alex wondered what was so special in this girl that Axel was head over heels for. Not that he was complaining or anything, but what Elora just said, scared the shit out of him. What if Axel did actually plan on proposing? He would've told him right? Right? Sure he would have. Alex hasn't even met the girl, he was sure that Axel would introduce her to him before making her his sister-in-law.

Alex was pulled out of his thoughts when someone grabbed him by his collar from behind and pulled him into an empty room.

"What the fuck?" He said, turning around to face the person, who turned out to be the one he hated the most at the moment, Felix.

"I should be saying that." Felix said, gaining a confused look from Alex. "Why did you come to meet her? Didn't I tell you to stay away?"

"and what will you do if I don't?" Alex asked going closed to Felix.

"You think I'm an idiot? You got suspended from St. Luke's, isn't that right?" Felix asked his grin growing.

"That's right." Alex said, trying not to flinch at the topic.

"Then why aren't there any records of that? Instead you know what I found? I found out that you left. They never suspended you. Why would they want to lose their football team captain? The best player in town? And I also found out about why you left. It was because you couldn't handle everyone knowing about your sister and your dad, isn't it?" And when Alex only took a step back, Felix's face showed victory. "What do you think she'll think of you when she comes to know the truth? Your truth. Do you think she'll stay?"

"And what about you? The truth of where you go everytime? You ain't just and only smoking are you? Fuck, she'll flip only the fact that you're smoking." Alex said, now sweating only to push Felix's smile wider.

"That'll be if you ever tell her, isn't it?" Felix said before leaving the room, leaving Alex there, thinking about stuff he didn't really want to think about.

He reached back home at around seven pm. The first thing he did after reaching home, was to find Axel. He searched the entire house and still couldn't find him anywhere so he called him. It ran one. Twice. Thrice. Four times. And then it went into voicemail. It had been years since Alex had gotten to Axel's voicemail and that's what scared him. What if something had happened to him? What if something was going to happen to both of them?

Alex's breathing because heavy and unsteady. His vision started getting blurry. His hands and legs started to shake and within a second he found himself on the floor. Flashbacks started. He could see his father there. With the knife. He saw Felicity lying down on the floor. He tried to reach out to her but couldn't. He screamed for help but no one came. Blood was everywhere and no matter how much he tried to move he couldn't. Not even an inch.

"Alex! Alex! Breathe!" He heard someone's voice say. A voice that calmed him down a bit. The voice was a familiar one too. A calming one.
