But if you're still breathing, breathing
You made it through your darkest days.
~Citizen Soldier. All Elora could talk about was Alex for the next few days. But only to Emma. She knew she wouldn't be able to talk about him to Felix because firstly it would get really awkward and secondly, Elora knew Felix was the jealous type.
Ever since the day at the bookstore, Elora and Alex have been fighting a lot less and a lot of rumers are spreading around. News here spreads like fire. It was bad enough that everyone knew about Felix and her, (not that she minded it, she just didn't like that much of attention) and now people are saying that she's cheating on Felix with Alex. Everytime she asked whether it bothered Felix he always said no but Elora knew better than to believe him. And for some reason for the past week, after she told Felix that she had bumped into Alex at the bookstore he's been acting really strange.
Elora keeps telling herself that it's normal. That it's just the start of their relationship and shit like this will happen and it normal. But what she didn't understand was why Felix kept disappearing. He even skipped drama class twice and Mrs. Lily had gotten wild. And Emily had been missing those two lectures too so basically Elora just practiced her lines while Emma and and Blake filled in for Felix and Emily.
"Where the hell is he Blake?" Elora said slumping on the cafeteria couch. Blake just shook his head. He too was tired of this shit. Why the hell was Felix just not telling them where he was? And how much more longer would he need to cover up for Felix during practices. It's even come to such a height that coach said that he would remove Felix from the team altogether. Blake sighed in frustration while running his hand through his hair.
"I know where that damn idiot is." Cullen said as he came running into the cafeteria and immediately gained attention.
"He's at the ice rink." Cullen said.
"Didn't we check there?" Emma said.
"He must've gone there after we left." Cullen shrugged.
"What the fuck is wrong with him?" Elora said getting annoyed. It had been a week now that he had been disappearing like this and it really got Elora worried as hell.
"I don't know. He won't speak up even if we tried. And mind you we've tried a lot." Blake said and then sat down next to Emma.
"Why can't he just spend some time with me? Like how you guys spend time with each other. Anyways most of our time goes in the drama class practice and now here he is just disappearing into thin air like it's nothing." Elora said holding back tears. "Does he not like me anymore? Did he find someone better-"
"Shut the fuck up." Cullen said at once and knelt down so that he could be at a average height as her. "If he's cheating on you I'm going to beat the shit out of him. But if he does that, he's a shitty ass person and not you. So please don't ever say that again. Promise?"
"Promise." Elora said and sniffled. She then flung her arms around Cullen's neck. She felt safe around him, she felt like nothing could touch her. Blake, Cullen and Felix all three of them made her feel like that. And she loved their company. She loved them. They were her family.
Come to the pitch for a while. He dad messaged. He often did ask her to come to the football pitch seeing as he was the teams football coach.
She missed playing football. Yes, Elora loved to play football. She loved it. The running after the ball, tackling her brother for fun even when it was against the rules, she missed it. But she had a good reason as to why she stopped. And even though he dad would keep telling her to start again, she never wanted to. Especially after depression hit her. But her depression wasn't the only reason she stopped. In fact that wasn't the reason at all.
