Chapter 32

Rowan's POV

Sunlight Peered through the curtains in Sabrina's living room. Although the rays of sunshine weren't the best part of the morning, the smell of bacon was. I sat up and saw two girls dancing to music in the kitchen while one was looking in the fridge and another at the stove looking down at a pan.

"I thought we were gonna eat out." I said standing up and walking over to the counter.

"Oh, Rowan! You're up!" Zoey said. "Breakfast is almost ready!" She lowered down the music.

"Yeah and we didn't want to go out, we just decided to make breakfast ourselves!" Sab said scooping up bacon from the pan and placing it on a plate that already had egg and 3 chocolate chip pancakes on it.

"Oh, ok." I sat down at the counter. "So what's on the menu, Chef Sabrina and Chef Zoey?" I asked them.

"Chocolate Chip Pancakes" Sab began

"Egg" Zoey continued

"and the best part..."

"BACON!" They said in unison.

Zoey placed three plates on the counter then her and Sabrina took a seat on either side of me.

"Dig in!" Sab said handing us our utensils.

"My pleasure!"

We stuffed the food in to our mouths savoring every moment.

"Hey, shouldn't you're parents be coming by now?" Zoey asked Sabrina.

"They had a last minute meeting so they aren't coming home until tonight." She replied.

"And your lunch with Rocky?" I asked.

"I cancelled. This is basically my brunch."

"Oh. Does that mean we'll have time to go shopping?" I asked her getting excited.

"Well Rocky still wants to hang out so we're thinking of just meeting in the park and catching up there." I frowned.

"Zoey?" I asked her.

"I can't either. I made some friends while you guys were in school so I made plans with them." Zoey replied.

"Aww. Ok, is Peyton busy?"

"I don't think so. he was supposed to go to the batting cages with his friends, but there's some last minute event going on there so he's probably just gonna stay home." Zoey said.

"Alright, do you mind dropping me off at your apartment so we can hang out?" I asked Zoey.

She was about to answer when Sab interrupted.

"You sure about that, Row? Hanging out with him means answering his question..."

I facepalmed. I forgot about that!

"Ugh. I guess I will have to answer then."

Sabrina and Zoey put their utensils down.

"What are you going to say!?" Asked Zoey.

"We'll see." The girls furrowed their eyebrows and were about to say something else but I cut them off. "I will text you girls what my answer for him is as soon as I tell him. Damn, you're more in to my relationship than I am." I told them.

They laughed and got up to place their plates in my sink as I handed them my plate too.

"Alright, well I should get going. Come on, Row." Zoey said picking up her keys. I noticed that Zoey had already changed and Sab and I were still in our pajamas.
