Sabrina's POV

"No!" Peyton said. Peyton's dad just shook his head.

"Then say goodbye to your sister and friend then Peyton...."

Peyton reached over the table and grabbed his dad's shirt.

People looked at us and I cleared my throat. Peyton realized this and he sat back down but kept his focus on his father.

"What do you even want with her? Are you going to abuse her like you did before?" Peyton scoffed "Bring you my mom? You're crazy!"

"Peyton. I am not going to hurt her! I want to talk to her. Tell her things that I should've told her before...."

"And what's that supposed to be? That you're sorry? I don't think she's interested."

"Yes. That I'm sorry. I want to make things right."

"And you think that kidnapping your daughter is the way to do it!?"

"I admit, that was... Bad.... But it was the only way I could get you guys to listen. Please, Peyton, hear me out."

"Tell me the truth, dad. What do you really want?" Peyton asked.

His dad just took a sigh.

"I am telling the truth, Peyton. I.... I have cancer."

Peyton's eyes widened in shock.

"You.... You have cancer?" He asked.

"I do. I might die soon and I.... I want to make things right before I pass. I want to say sorry. Kidnapping Zoey and Bradley? I know.... It made things worse I didn't know what to do Peyton! I didn't know how to make sure you guys would listen! I'm so sorry! Peyton.... I really do love you. You're my son and Zoey too. I didn't harm her I promise! She's with Bradley! All I did was out them in a room! I still fed them and gave them water.... But I.... I don't know." He closed his eyes. "When I found out about my cancer a pang of guilt came over me. I knew you wouldn't even look at me. I am crazy. I know. These guys?" He motions to Rocky and that other dude. "They were there when I found out about my cancer and I.... I wanted to see you guys. So... I told them how I wanted to see you guys we looked for you.... But I didn't mean for all this to happen. My brain? I wasn't thinking! I wasn't! So please Peyton. Please! I want to see your mother and give her my apologies. Please."

Peyton looked at him. "If you loved us you wouldn't have kidnapped Zoey, hurt mom, you caused us to run! You made us fear you! You're asking for my forgiveness it's going to take a whole lot more than that. I can bring mom here and I can let you see her." His dad smiled. "After you get yourself some help." His smile faded. "You will free Zoey and Bradley then you will turn yourself in to the police. You will tell them about your cancer and you will let them help you. Mom and I can visit you there. You want to make things right? Do what I say." Peyton said firmly. I nodded in approval.

It was silent as Peyton's dad sat there considering this option.

"Bahahaha!" Rocky bursted. "Oh come on! You can't seriously be thinking about this!"

"Be quiet, Rocky!" That silenced him. "Is this what you want?" Peyton's dad asked well Peyton.

He nodded.

"Ok." He turns to the other body guard guy. "Go get Zoey and Bradley and drop them off at Peyton's apartment." The dude scrambled on to his foot and headed to the door.

"What!?" Rocky asked "that's it!?"

"Yes. That's it, Rocky! Now leave, nobody wants you here."

Rocky got up slowly and looked at us one more time. He scoffed then walked out the door.

"Thank you, Peyton." Said his dad then he got up and left too. Once he was completely out of sight, I see Peyton and Rowan hug.

"You know what, Peyton...." I said...

He turned to me

"Looks like Rocky was the bad guy after all. Not your dad, Rocky took advantage of him. I think he convinced your dad or played him knowing he wasn't thinking well to do the bad things he has done. It was all Rocky...." I said quietly.

"You know what, I think you're right..."

I smiled knowing this was all over. "When am I not?" I joked.

Rowan and Peyton laughed and we all hugged. Peyton looked at the two of us.

"Let's go home."
