Sabrina's POV

"So as you walk out today, I hope that you smile. That you feel proud, because   I know that each and every one of you are compassionate and talented human beings. I know that everybody here will excel in life and I wish you all the best of luck. It is my honor to be able to speak to you all today, thank you." I said with shaky hands. It isn't easy to get up in front of everybody and give your Valedictorian speech. Everybody applauded and I smiled. There were two people being extra loud....

I walked back to my seat and Bradley held my hand. I looked at him and he grinned at me.

"You were amazing." He whispered as I heard people's names getting called and people standing up.

I blushed.

'Thank you' I mouthed

He smiled and nodded.

'I love you' Bradley mouthed

'I love you too'

I turned to Rowan and her foot was violently tapping the floor and she was playing with the bracelet I had given her a couple years ago.

I grabbed my best friends hand and now I was holding the hands of my two favorite people.

Rowan looked up at me and smiled nervously. I chuckled.

"Calm down, Row. I will be right behind you." I whispered and I gave her hand a squeeze.

She nodded at me

"Thank you, B. Love you."

Before I could reply Rowan's name was called.

Her eyes widened and she looked at me nervously. I gave her a warm smile and she slowly stood up. I could see her hands shaking when the diploma went in to her hand.

I laughed quietly, but then I realized I was next.

"Sabrina Ann Lynn Carpenter"

Bradley squeezed my hand and I took a deep breath.

I slowly stood up and walked to the man that held the rolled up piece of paper. My diploma. It had my name printed on it. I spent so many days of my life wishing I didn't have to go to school. Of course it won't end, I will have college, work, but right now, this shows that I'm done. This simple piece of paper means that I am finally done with school.

My eyes were fixed on the neatly rolled up paper as it was held out to me. As I reached for it I looked up at my principal, Mr. Feeny, and he smiled at me.

"You have a great future ahead of you, Sabrina. I just know it! Keep up the good work!" He said softly.

"Thank you, Mr. Feeny, it means a lot." I replied taking the diploma and it felt like a huge weight had just been taken off of my shoulders. I can relax now.

As I walked to my spot next to Rowan, I constantly kept turning around to watch Bradley smile nervously. He walked to Mr. Feeny and I laughed to myself because I just know what Bradley said to him.

Bradley's POV

"I know you're gonna miss me Feenyyyyyy" I said taking the diploma.

Feeny shook his head and laughed

"Believe what you want Mr. Perry," he turned serious "Take care, ok?"

"Will do" I replied. "Thank you, Mr. Feeny." I shook his hand and headed to where Sabrina and Rowan were.
