ROSSELLE'S POV

I slightly smiled when I saw him walking towards us  - specifically to Chelsea and I saw rage in his eyes, he's really mad right now and his feelings is very valid, specially that his beloved is totally injured and in the verge of death.

I know that Angela is confused kung sino ang lalaking ito but I know that she can also feel the power that this man radiates. 'Cause this man is Devon Lincoln

One of the most powerful and dangerous vampire in the world.

I can still remember the day when I first Devon.

FLASHBACK

Bigla akong nakarinig ng kaluskos kaya agad akong lumingon sa aking likod but to my surprise I bumped into something. I slowly look up and I was shocked and confused when I saw someone.

"Finally, I met you, my beloved"

Agad na napakunot ang aking noo ng marinig ko ang sinabi nya. His Beloved? Is he crazy? I already have my mate for God's sake!  Gusto ko lang namang magpakalayo-layo muna kay Alfred dahil sa mga masasakit na sinabi nya sa akin pero bakit mas dumagdag pa itong bampirang ito sa problema ko ngayon?

"I'm sorry but I think hindi ako ang beloved mo" sabi ko sa kanya habang nakangiti.

I know what he felt because it's the same feeling that I've felt when I first saw Alfred.

"But you have its scent. I know it's you" pagpupumilit na sabi nya sa akin. I mentally groaned. This man is so hard headed!

"I can hear your thoughts, lady. Be careful with that" naiinis na sabi nya sa akin kaya agad akong kinabahan. Only those powerful vampires can instantly hear the thoughts of the other vampires if they want too. If he can hear my thoughts, that means-

"Yeah you're right lady, I'm a powerful vampire" sabi nya sa akin habang tumatawa. But I know that behind those laugh hides a very dangerous man.

"Who are you?" kinakabahang tanong ko sa kanya habang humahakbang ako paatras.

"I am Devon. Devon Lincoln" ng sabihin nya ang pangalan niya ay agad nalang akong nanghina. N-no, this man is very powerful and I know that he can instantly kill me right now if he wants too.

"What's your name, my beloved?" tanong nya sa akin at bigla nalang syang napunta sa harap an ko. Damn this vampire speed! kahit tumakas man ako ngayon ay alam kong mahahanap at makikita nya parin ako. He's not a powerful vampire for no reason.

"I'm Rosselle Medalla and for your information, I'm not your beloved. I already have a mate, and it's not you" agad na sabi ko sa kanya. I saw a glint of pain and sadness in his eyes but it was changed immediately.

"Oh I see. But why do you have this amazing scent that drive my vampire crazy?" tanong nya sa akin. I can see how his eyes turns from brown to purple. It indicates that his vampire wants to show.

"I-i don't know" sabi ko sa kanya at yumuko ako. I don't know what's happening! Moon Goddess please! kahit galit ako kay Alfred ay loyal parin ako sa kanya!

"Come with me" bigla niyang sabi sa akin at hinila ako at sa isang iglap ay nakarating kami sa isang bahay. Sheeeems! it looks so scary!

"Are you afraid lady?" bigla niyang tanong sa akin habang naka ngisi. Inirapan ko lang sya at hindi ko sya sinagot. Bahala sya. Hindi ko sya papansinin kahit isa sya sa malalakas na bampira dito sa buong mundo.

He stepped in first and I followed him and instantly, my jaw dropped from the view in front of me. The interior of this house is very opposite from its exterior. The interior looks so beautiful!! And it has a lot of candles that compliments the shinning antiques in this place.

I smiled upon seeing it. My vampire self feels so happy right now.

"You like it huh?" tanong nya sa akin kaya napatingin ako sa kanya. I saw how he smiled and damn! May dimples sya sa kanyang pisngi!! Ngayon ko lang din sya natitigan and I can say that he's very handsome!

"Are you done eye-raping me Rosselle?" nabigla ako sa sinabi nya kaya agad ko syang nabatukan.

"Oooops! Sorry!" sabi ko sa kanya at inirapan ko sya. I can feel that he's controlling his self right now and I know na wala pang nagtangkang gawin yun sa kanya kasi for sure agad na mamamatay ang gagawa nun sa kanya but I'm different you know.

He sighed and looked at me.

"Go to your temporary room on the second floor and take a bath first. Pagkatapos mong maligo ay bumaba ka dito. We need to talk" sabi nya sa akin at agad syang nawala sa harapan ko. I just shrugged and I follow his command. Pagkatapos kong maligo ay bumaba na ako at nakita ko syang nakaupo sa sofa habang uminom. I sniff the air and I know that he's drinking blood right now.

"Take a seat" he said coldly and with authority. I shiver when I hear his voice. He's very different from the Devon that I've known a while ago.

"Now I know why you're saying that I'm not your beloved" sabi nya sa akin at tinitigan ako.

"bakit nga ba?" tanong ko sa kanya.

"Who owns this one" tanong nya sa akin at itinaas niya ang panyong nasa bulsa ko kanila.

"My friend owns that one" sabi ko sa kanya. Alam kong pagbalik ko ay mapapatay ako ni Chelsea. Dinala ko ang kanyang paboritong panyo!

"You're friend is my beloved. She owns that scent just by sniffing this handkerchief" sabi nya sa akin na ikinagulat ko. Chelsea has another mate? and her mate is a vampire? how about Clement?

"I know what you're thinking. A already assigned some of my men to look for my beloved since I'm not there" sabi nya sa akin at tumayo na sya.

"Wait, you already know her?"

"Yes, She's Chelsea, and she's my beloved. And I'll kill every person na hahadlang sa aming dalawa. I'll train you tomorrow using your vampire Rosselle. I want you to protect Chelsea kapag babalik ka na sa pack nyo. I need to finish something bago ko kunin si Chelsea sa pack nyo" sabi nya sa akin at tuluyan na syang nawala.

Pagkatapos ng araw na iyon ay tinulungan ako ni Devon na mas maging malakas pa. He helped me in so many ways and he also became my friend.

I don't know kung ilang araw o ilang linggo na ba akong wala sa pack nila Angela but I still need to train, in order for me to help Angela and Chelsea.

"Rosselle, I think it's time" bigla nyang sabi sa akin. We're in the midst of our training when he said those words.

"What do you mean?"

"Your pack and your mate needs you right now. Go home. I know that you can defend yourself now" sabi nya sa akin at hinawakan ang aking balikat.

"Something bad will going to happen Rosselle and I want you to be there. Just please, be careful and don't let anyone touch Chelsea" sabi nya sa akin at niyakap ako.

Devon is like a brother to me. Inalagaan nya ako na parang kanyang kapatid and I'm very grateful for that.

"Take care Rosselle" bulong nya sa akin at naramdaman ko nalang na may inilagay syang kwintas sa akin.

"This necklace will be our way to communicate with each other. Just hold this necklace and focus on reaching me, I'll always be there" sabi nya sa akin at ginulo ang buhok ko.

"Thank you, Devon" maluha-luhang sabi ko sa kanya at tumango naman sya sa akin.

I looked at him for the last time and I smiled. He waved his hands and I quickly run, using my enhanced vampire speed.
