"That very cute mark you left on my neck a few days ago, Stark saw it," I told Wanda, throwing myself on her bed and laying down.

"Fuck," she muttered, "what did he say?"

"I told him I burnt myself with my curling iron," I smirked sitting up so she could sit on my lap.

She smiled cheekily and brushed my hair out of my face and behind my ears, straddling my lap and then tracing the fading mark with her finger.

"Although," I smirked, "I believe I now need to return the favour."

"Do you now?" she smiled.

I hummed and nodded, "we've been seeing each other for what? A week? And so far, I seem to be the only one covered in marks."

She shrugged her shoulders, "you love it."

"Maybe a little too much," I smiled.

She hummed and brushed her lips over mine.

"Wait," I mumbled against her lips.

"You okay?" she asked, cupping my cheeks.

I nodded, "I wanna take you on a date, a proper date."

"Okay," she smiled.

"Tomorrow night," I told her.

She nodded quickly, "I'm looking forward to it."

"Good," I smiled wide, leaning in to kiss her again.

"Wait," she said.

I giggled and pulled away, "one of these days we will kiss without one of us talking into it."

She scrunched her nose and laughed.

"That's the cutest fucking thing," I observed.

"What?" she asked, her accent slipping through.

"One," I started, pecking her lips, "your accent and two," I smiled, giving her another short kiss, "the nose scrunch you do. I don't even know if you realise, you're doing it but it's really cute."

She scrunched her nose again and then blushed when she realised she did it again.

"What did you want to say, babe?" I asked her, running my hand up and down her spine.

She hummed at the feeling and leaned her forehead against mine, "what are we?" she asked.

"Um I don't know?" I replied honestly.

She nodded and pulled away to look at me, "I'm the only one, right? There's no one else?"

I giggled and shook my head, "there's no one else Wands, you're the only one."

"Good," she smiled, "so are you."

"I um- I want to be transparent with you and honest and I don't want to lead you along if- no- fuck sorry, I um- I really like you Maximoff but I- I don't know if I'm ready for a relationship yet," I told her.

She nodded and thought for a moment, "so what are we doing then? We make out, we don't sleep together, you ask me out on a date and then you say you're not ready for a relationship and you don't want the team to know?" she asked.

"It doesn't sound great," I agreed.

She nodded, not making an effort to climb off my lap or remove her hands from my face.

"Why are you not ready for a relationship?" she asked sadly, "it's not me is it?"

"No," I sighed, looking into her eyes, "it's not you ... I just- I've never liked anyone the way I like you and that scares me."
