They had us in cells. Actual prison cells with bars and no doors. Round my neck was a device that socked me every time I used my powers which I had to learn the hard way. They were the same around my wrists. Both were flaming red from the number of shocks they had given before I realised what they did and used my powers to try and escape. I was passed food through a small entrance in the 'cage' probably once a day. I wouldn't know though, there was no light, no other people around me and no clock. I hadn't seen Wanda since the battle in the airport which I think was about 18 days ago if I was counting the sleeps I had taken in this room. I looked around the room, just like I did every day and closed my eyes, taking some deep breaths in and out to stop myself from trying to use my abilities. However, unlike every other day, the large door opened, and a bright light shinned in, making me squint my eyes and make out a female figure walking towards me.
"DON'T TOUCH ME," I shouted, holding my hands out in front of me, "NE BLYA TROGAY MENYA (don't fucking touch me)."
"Hey, it's okay," the person reasoned stopping in front of me and cupping my cheeks.
I pulled away and furrowed my brows, properly adjusting to the light surrounding me. When I focused, red hair blocked my sight and my breath hitched.
"Natasha?" I asked.
"Hey detka," she sighed, smiling at me sadly, "what have they done to you."
"Please take them off," I whispered, bursting into tears.
"You're okay Y/N, you're okay," she whispered, picking the lock of the machine around my neck until it came undone.
I took a shaky breath when it was free and held my hands out in front of her. She bit her cheek, tears pricking the corners of her eyes as she undid the ones around my wrists too, letting them fall to the floor and placing a kiss on both of my arms.
"Oh malysh," she sighed, "I'm so sorry I couldn't come sooner."
"We have to find Wanda," I replied, standing up quickly and falling to my knees when my legs were too weak to hold me up.
"Let's take it easy," she frowned, wrapping my arm over her shoulder to help me walk.
"I need Wanda," I cried.
"I know detka, Steve is getting her out but right now I really need you to follow me so we can get you out of here," Nat said.
I nodded, "give me a minute."
"Y/N-"
"Trust me Tasha, give me a minute," I repeated.
"Okay," she whispered, holding me steady as I closed my eyes and took a deep breath, building up my abilities again.
I took one more deep breath and smiled as I felt my power rising again, snapping my fingers and appearing in front of Wanda and Steve in a different hallway.
"Y/N," Wanda exclaimed shakily.
"Baby," I cried, running into her arms and hugging her tightly.
"Are you okay?" she croaked, holding onto me tightly.
I nodded quickly, crying into the crook of her neck, "I thought I lost you. I'm sorry baby, I'm sorry I couldn't protect you."
She shook her head and pulled away, crashing her lips against mine, not caring about our little audience. I sighed and kissed her back, pulling away slowly and leaving a few more pecks on her lips before leaning my forehead against hers.
"I couldn't protect you either," she whispered, pecking my lips again, "I love you so much Y/N/N."
I let out a soft sob and hugged her again, "I love you too Wands, so so much."
